When you ordered tickets from GAT, how long did it take to get the lanyards and pins package from them? Did it come USPS or something else like UPS? I bought our tickets last Wednesday and we are leaving Saturday am. Do you think it'll make it or not? Thanks.
 
I would phone them. Did you purchase just tickets or a package? You may not get anything other than the tickets if that's the case. You would get a receipt and p/u the tickets at DL.
 
um dont quote me on this but i think you get them at the guest survices with your tickets?

I didn't want to call and bother them with this, but I am really curious so maybe I will. I thought they came with any 3-day or longer park hopper ticket. I didn't get a package... I did get my confirmation email and snailmail already.
 

I would definately call. I ordered 4 day tickets and recieved mine about two weeks later via Fedex.
 
OK, I called. She said yes they will be coming, but it may take up to 10 business days to get to us. I could have bought expedited shipping if I wanted them sooner. So there you go, we may just have them waiting for us when we return, which is OK. I asked if they come by mail or UPS, and she answerd "mail," but I'll keep my eyes peeled for FedEx. Thanks for your help!
 
From what I can tell, they seem pretty inconsistent. I purchased our 8-day PH's back on 7/17/08. Prior to making the purchase online, I called to see what they used for standard delivery. He told me it was USPS Priority Mail which is typically 3-5 days in my experience. And, in that mailing would be lanyards, pins, and a receipt. So, I made the purchase but never received the confirmation email that the system said I would get. I've called 3 times since then and still have not received an email and even provided them with multiple email addresses. So, I've basically written off getting that. As of today, I still haven't received our lanyards/pins in the mail either.

I'm not really concerned though since I can see my purchase on their website under My Account and they say that I just need to provide my name at the ticket booth. It would just be nice if their transaction process was a bit more stable when spending right at $1000 for tickets.
 
I understand that they don't send the lanyards and pins till 2 weeks prior to your trip. I mean, they time it to get there 2 weeks before.
 
I got my lanyards and pins right after I placed my order, and it was more than 2 weeks before my trip.

I was not expecting pins or lanyards -- they were a nice surprise. I ordered 4 day hoppers and princess lunch vouchers. My friends who ordered just lunch vouchers did not get lanyards. I'm not sure what the criteria are or if it's just random if you're not buying a package.

I would be concerned about coming all the way from TX without some kind of paper IMHO, so I hope you get it soon. Are you coming this weekend? Did you pay extra for priority mail? I mean I figured the same as you because even sent regular 1st class, I couldn't imagine it coming later than this Friday (9 days after I ordered). The fact that she said "business days" makes me think FedEx over USPS though. And unlike you I got a letter from them on Monday (I think) with my receipt. Please let us know when you get your stuff. I'm really interested.

When you say "right after," how many days exactly? On their website they say that the pins and lanyards are included with any ticket equal or greater than a 3-day park hopper. (It's on their package description page, so that explains my initial confusion.) That's why you got them and not your friend.
 
I ordered my 4 day hoppers on Sunday 7/13 and got the lanyards, Buzz pins, and a receipt on 7/18 (Utah to WA state). They came USPS. I was also worried when I didn't get a confirmation email from them, but then I found it in my Junk box.

Only 2 more weeks! :banana:

We don't leave until 8/6 so plenty of time for "something" to be delivered. I didn't pay any extra for shipping, just the standard method. I'll definitely post up when I see something.
 
You get lanyards and pins when you order tickets too from GAT? I thought you had to get a package with them in order to get that stuff. I bought 3- three day park hoppers in March and got nothing. That sucks.
 
Well the website lists it on this page and this page (scroll to 11/16/07 podcast). But the first link mentions DISNEYLAND RESORT VACATIONS, which implies a package, but its really not clear. The second link mentions a bonus MM, the free pin, and the lanyard with a 3-day park hopper purchase. Did anyone get the "Free 5x7 Disney Photo Pass picture - a $12.95 value" that they mention on this page? The mail has come and gone for today and the package was not there, so I cannot comment on whether or not this is included.
 
Can I jump in with a question about GAT? (I'm sorry, I don't mean to threadjack!). I'm going to DL in Dec and plan to upgrade to APs. I'm also planning on a trip Oct 09 with my friend's family. Is it possible to get a package deal for all of us without getting hoppers for myself and my daughter? If so, will DD and I still get the extras (such as TTMM tix)?
 
TTMM (Toon Town Morning Madness) is not included in GAT packages. I think Mickey's ToonTown Morning Madness is only included in hotel/ticket packages from AAA and Disney. Just MM (Magic Morning aka: early entry into DL) is available from GAT and it is my understanding that the extras are only included if you buy 3 days or longer park hopper tickets. Therefore, yes you could still get a package for your party with any number of tickets, but the extras would only be included with each parkhopper you included in that package from GAT.

I'm finding the website pretty annoying to navigate. Can you link to the page where you got meal vouchers? I'm interested in looking into that.
