Rumour has it that tickets for Disney and Co will be going up early in the New Year by as much as 10%, which is obviously bad news if you are definitely booked to go. However, Attraction Tickets Direct are pointing out you can make some considerable savings if you book your tickets with them before the end of December. Current prices are:

5 Day Disney Hopper PLUS £163 Ad £133 Ch
5 Park Orlando FlexTicket £129 Ad £109 Ch

Check out their offers on www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk or call 0845 130 3876.

NB: ANY regular Disney Hopper pass or FlexTicket is valid indefinitely from the moment you buy it until you use the final day. The 10-Day World Pass has specific time validations.

Thanks, Simon. My brother and s-i-l need to buy passes for our January trip. It seems that the minimum on offer in the UK (both directly from Disney and from the UK agents) is the 5 Day Hopper Plus, but they really only need a 4 Day Hopper (they have 1 day left on existing passes and are unlikely to need any plusses).

Does anyone know if you can still buy advance tickets via Disney.com? We've done this in the past, but you're now asked for your Country of residence. Clicking on UK takes you to the UK site where only 5 Day Hopper Plusses are available at £179. To get to the US $ prices (and 4 Day Hopper availability at $192) you have to indicate that you're a US resident. Has anyone tried purchasing this way?

I tried to buy tickets from disney.com earlier this year but the site wouldn't sell to a UK address - I was re-directed to disney.uk. An exchange of e-mails with Disney lead to me being advised that disney.com cannot now sell to UK.

Following advice from this site I called Disney reservations and bought the tickets over the phone, using the will collect service. I think the # I called was the main reservations # 407 934 7639 or 407 824 8000. Anyone confirm?

Have a great trip:Pinkbounc :sunny:

Deb,

You probably know this, but just in case, your In-laws might wanna try Ticketmania - they sell 3 and 4 day PHP tickets, and their prices are as good as anyone's once you take their free postage to the UK into account. I know you say they probably won't need the pluses this trip, but another time maybe ?

I order 8 tickets from them, 4 PHP's and 4 Flex tickets this month and got them within 6 days of placing the order, not too shabby from Orlando !

The 3 and 4 day passes are accessible via the Mousesavers.com subscribers specail offfer page - here's the link:

Ticketmania 3 & 4 day PHP's page

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks Simon,

Attraction Tickets Direct is where we always go, they are always competitive price wise, always give the actual tickets and not vouchers and reward returning customers with additional offers.

I know we will be booking our Flextickets before the end of December and they will knock £5 each of our tickets as well.

Hope to get the new book this weekend, look forward to that.

Would this price increase also apply to annual passes. We are going on Jan 25th...was there any date fixed for the increase?

It's not clear, I'm afraid. I have been told only that the price rise is expected in 'early January' and it affects all multi-day and single-ticket prices.

I can back up Beejayjay's opinion of ticketmania.

I ordered some PHP tickets from them as well and they arrived in about 6 days as well. Great service.

Another recommendation for Ticketmania from me! They kept me informed every step of the way and the tickets arrived promptly.

We are travelling in December 2004 and have a question regarding Flexi-tickets. We know unused days never expire on disney hopper plus passes, but does the same apply to flexitickets? We would like to buy them now but obviously we wont be using them until december next year.
Also, has anyone ever used Mapleleaf Tickets?

www.mapleleaftickets.com

Comparing prices to the places mentioned above they work out cheaper.

5 Day Hopper Plus Pass $265 (£153 approx credit card exchange rate)
6 Day Hopper Plus Pass $282 (£163 approx credit card exchange rate)
7 Day Hopper Plus Pass $307 (£178 approx credit card exchange rate)
4 Park Flexi-ticket $171.95 (£99 approx credit card exchange rate)

(These are actual tickets and not vouchers)
They charge $6 for delivery to the UK, but even with this they work out cheaper.
There is good customer feedback from UK customers, its just that I haven't seen them mentioned on this board.
Many thanks,
Bruce & Tammy.

Hi, the flex tickets expire 14 days after first use, regardless of how many times you visit those parks, so obviously have be used on one trip. They can not be saved for unused days like the Disney Hoppers.

Also regarding Maple Leaf tickets, I exchanged a couple of emails with someone called Omar there yesterday. He replied within five minutes each time and although they are cheap, he would not budge any further even though I was looking to spend over £1000. (I'm much braver at bartering via email than I am in person!)

I went with Attraction Tickets Direct in the UK today as I don't have the conveniance of a commission free cc like you, in your case I don't think I would hesitate to use Maple Leaf.

Does anyone know where I can buy the 4/5 day hopper pass for Disney, we never go to the water parks or pleasure Is so will not need the plus.
I have e-mailed ticketmania 4 days ago as this is where we bought our last bunch of tickets from but so far no reply.

Does anybody have any experience, good, bad or indifferent with the ticket agent - undercovertourist.com.

As far as I can tell they seem to have the most attractive prices for tickets that I can find at present.

Mickey_UK,

Both Ticketmania and Mapleleaf do 4 and 5 day Park Hoppers.

Try these links :

OkItsMe,

I havent used Undercovertourist.com. I'm just wondering if you are aware that the prices they quote on the order page DO NOT include tax ? The prices on Ticketmania etc usually do include tax.

As an example, the price for a 5 day PHP on Undercovertourist.com works out at $259.63 with tax, Ticketmania charge $260 with free post and packing to the UK. I didn't see whether or not Undercover harge for post/packing.

Hope this helps guys. :)
