Get me from MK to Contemp to WL, PLZ!

I just read a "tip" to avoid crowds after the MK fireworks. Walk from MK to Contemp & get transportation from there. Well, #1, can someone tell me how to get from MK to Contemp via my feet instead of monorail? #2, How do I then get from the Contemp to WL? Bus, boat, monorail to TTC & then bus or boat? Sorry for my confusion!

There is a very well marked, and lit, walkway from MK over to the Contemporary. It takes about 8 minutes to walk. Then, if I'm remembering correctly, you can take a boat from the Contemporary marina (in the back of the resort) over to WL.

Or you can take a boat from MK. But that can get crowded. I believe that you can get a bus to WL at the TTC, but that may have changed. I would walk to the Contemporary and then take the smaller boat to WL. Have a terrific time.

Another choice that often works is to ride the resort monorail to the CR, it is sometimes very empty, even when the express line is huge! The CR is the first stop on the resort monorail from the MK.

Or, you can take the walking path to the CR - just go out past the bus stops - you'll see a paved pathway there.

When you get to the CR, head out back to the dock and take the launch from CR to the WL.

What may even be faster, take the resort monorail to the TTC, there is a WL bus that leaves from there. I think that might be faster than going to the Contemp and then getting the boat to the WL.

Just remember the small boat which goes WL/CR/FW (any order) only runs from 7am - 10pm. So if the FW's are late, this boat may have stopped running.

Underneath the monorail beam there is a walkway to the Contemporary, with a signaled crosswalk. Please, DO NOT walk in the bus lanes.
