I just bought my 7 day park-hopper tickets on Getawaytoday.com and when I purchased them it says that all I need to do is pick them up at any ticket booth at Disneyland. I am just a little skeptical and was hoping someone who has purchased their tickets the same way could put my mind at ease, and let me know that this process did indeed work. Also if you could inform as to whether there is a certain ticket booth I need to go to or anything that I need to bring with me besides my Drivers license.

The only thing you need is your Driver's license if the tickets are in your name. If you put them in someone else's name - then they will need to pick up the tickets.

I've used GAT before and they are great to work with. You shouldn't have any problems at all. I just keep their number with me when I use them since they have a guarantee that if things go wrong they will fix them - and they do!

You can also pick up the tickets before you go into the parks. We arrived the night before we were going to DLR on our first trip and I wish that I had known we could pick up our tickets that night - it would have saved me having to wait in line the next morning. The tickets aren't activated until you use them at the turnstile.

We've used GAT before and loved them. Never a problem

Last November, I purchased Park Hopper tickets from Get Away Today, and I didn't have any problems getting the tickets at a ticket booth. :thumbsup2

You only need to bring a photo I.D. to one of the ticket booths. GAT will send you an an invoice receipt by e-mail; IMO it wouldn't hurt to print out the e-mail and bring it with you. Also, a couple of days before your visit, it wouldn't hurt to reconfirm your reservation with GAT.

You can go to any of the 8 ticket booths. Here's a link to a wikimap that shows the West Ticket Booths and the East Ticket Booths:

FYI, Get Away Today is a well known company that has been in business for 19 or 20 years.

Put your mind at ease. I have used getawaytoday many times and never had a problem. As many have posted, just take your drivers lisence. You may also want to take the credit card you purchased them with.

You should have no problems at all.

First off I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!!! for all the reassurances! It is greatly appreciated! Also thank you Brady's Mom for the tip on getting the passes the night before, I was worried that we would be wasting a lot of time on the day of waiting in line to pick up my tickets, but that was a perfect solution, so THANK YOU!

Also I was mistaken in my original post, my park hopper tickets are for 6 days, our vacation is for 7 days :rolleyes1 Sorry for getting everybody's hope up.

hi

found there website and they have the best deal i can find for accommodation at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel ( about $33 cheaper) which i know isnt much but they also say the waive the resort fee which is another $72

Anyone from outside of US used them? I'm from Australia so hope I can use them too
cheers

Heres what I have found for our 6 night trip this June for Grand:
Getaway Today package $2834 all taxes and fees.
Disneyland direct $2877 all taxes and resort fees.
Disneyland direct for same nights room only $1899 all taxes and resort fees. Add the same park hoppers as both above for $676 and its $2575 total! Better off separately and no cancellation fees for room only ressies. Good luck!

:goodvibes Glad I could help! It would have been sooooo nice if I had known that little tip on our first trip. It's nice to pass along the magic. Hope you have a great trip! ;)

If you're staying at one of the DL hotels you can also pick up your GAT tickets at the hotel at check-in. :thumbsup2

Thank you for this info, this is the info I was searching for. Has anyone else been able to pick up GAT tickets at DLH check in? I really want to avoid the ticket booth lines, so I might actually use GAT if I can get the tickets when I check in to the hotel.

I have purchased my park passes many times from GAT and everytime has been a breeze. After you purchase from GAT they send you an email ticket you can print out and take with you, and they also send you ones in the mail. Either the email ticket vouchers or the ones in the mail will do. They are both valid vouchers.

Take those vouchers to the Disneyland ticket booth when you arrive at the park, and show your valid ID and they hand you over all your passes. Easy as punch. Also on your vouchers GAT should have a phone number, so if anything does go wrong Disneyland can call and figure it out. But you wont have any issues. :goodvibes

We just used them last month for our trip. We got a receipt but no actual voucher, we were just told to go directly to any ticket booth. We did and they could not find out tickets! We were a little bit nervous, but disney as always was awesome too us! The manager told us that GAT is a great company but they hand enter all their tickets so if they mispell a name, it can be hard to find. They ended up giving us complimentary one day hoppers and two fastpasses good for six for waiting!!! We then called GAT and they were great, gave us the number and we went back up and got our actual tickets. It turns out they put my husbands first name as his last and last name first.

They were awesome and I would not hesitate to use them again, but next time I would get a confirmation number for the tickets. :)

I just looked at Get Away Today and all I can find for Disneyland are 6 day tickets. Where are the 8 day tickets? Why did they take them off there?! The last time I went to DL in '08 I got the 8 days. I was really hoping to do the same thing for the next trip. :guilty:

I dont think they sell 8 day tics anymore. I think 6 is the max. Besides, if you pay anymore than that you might as well buy season passes.

Edit: Well it looks like a 6 day pass with no discounts is normaly $254 and a deluxe annual pass is $299. Not much more but could add up if there are a lot of people in the family.

They stopped selling 8 day passes. The max you can get (even adding on days to a ticket) is 6. Too many people were selling off their extra days on ebay, craigslist, etc.
