Has anyone used GetAwayToday to book their trip to Disneyland? We going Easter weekend April 3-April 7th. 2 Adults and 2 Kids.
GetAwayToday offers the ParkHopper Bonus Tickets, Lanyard, pins, $300 in coupons, and the hotel. We will be driving from Utah.
Ayres Inn has the best price, but I don't know anything about it. I have not been in over 20 years and everyone else is a first timer. We could really use some advice about deals and where to stay off site. Would love your input. Thank you.

I only use GAT for purchasing park hoppers and character meal vouchers ~ but I find ARES's prices better - http://arestravel.com/77_DisneylandResort.html Book your hotel on your own. I am curious about the $300 in coupons ~ I better check the site. Good luck going over Easter, expect crowds. Luckily you found this site prior to your trip.

ETA ~ according to GAT Ayres is less than 2 miles away!! You want to be within walking distance and that's not.

Here's the info on the $300 savings ~ "Southern California Discount Coupons: up to $300 savings! (printable from home when you book)" I'm not very impressed.

GAT has a link on their site to print the coupons, without having to buy a package. I know a lot of people who go through them. But I personally, don't think it is worth it.

We've used GAT in the past, but I agree with the previous posters about booking your hotel seperately. You really can do much better!

I agree with everyone else to book your hotel separately. I have used GAT in the past and am planning on using them again for our tickets for our April trip. They come out to $0.75 cheaper than Ares for the 4-day park hoppers so not a big difference (but hey, every penny counts!) I would check Ares for what you need also, and then I wouldn't think twice about using either company. Go with the better deal!

Does GAT mail you your tickets or do you pick them up from D-land?? Is there any advantage to buying tix directly from Disneyland?

I ONLY use GAT....because the folks on here told me to!!! :thumbsup2

Love them, they're very helpful & everything arrived recently. Last time worked out perfectly using them.

Booked our last trip through them as they were the best deal that particular week.

I have used GetAwayToday.com about 5 or 6 times. I have been happy with them every time. They send you your package with the voucher for your hotel as well as a voucher to pick up your tickets at the ticket counter at D-Land.(You can also use your credit card and photo ID to pick them up) You get your laniard and pin in the package they send you about a week after you book.

I have always been happy with them and every time I book a trip they seem to be about $100 cheaper than booking the hotel and tickets myself. I have compared side by side. For instance on our last trip we stayed at the Red Lion. I searched the trip on GAT and got the price. Then I went to a few sites like Hotels.com and the Red Lion site and searched for those same dates. When I added up the best price I found along with the price of our park hopper tickets it was about $140 cheaper with GAT. Also Red Lion has a $14 dollar a day parking fee. I was expecting to pay this when we went. When we checked in the desk person told me our parking was complimentary because we booked with Getawaytoday.

I dont want to sound like a commercial for them but they have never let me down so far. I will be booking my next trip thru them as well.

We have used GAT a few times. The last time we used them though, we got to the hotel and the hotel had a price on the marquee that was cheaper than we paid. We called GAT to ask what they could do. We even asked if they could get us into a suite because for what we paid we could get a suite according to the prices on the marquee. GAT said they couldn't do anything for us. :confused3

We're using GAT for this trip, as we did for the last.

It depends on where you're staying. Both times for us it has worked out cheaper with GAT for the hotels we had chosen - I'm guessing that they have had a special deal. But for other hotels there has been benefit.

I suggest selecting your hotel then comparing between booking direct and with GAT.
