Get Anniversary And Honeymoon Pins, Wear Them!

As an annual passholder, let me just remind everyone that is going to Disney on their honeymoon or anniversary. Get anniversary or honeymoon pins and WEAR THEM. Lose your pride. I didnt want to but my wife made me on our honeymoon. We were treated unreal! We are treated well on every visit but the level jumped when we wore our honeymoon pins(yes it was our honeymoon).

Firstly we were approached and congratulated by nearly every CM we saw while walking. Even at AK CM's from other "countries" told us congratulations in their native language.
At Casey's Grill we were given a free brownie desert.
At Test Track we were put on our very own car by ourselves.
At Pirates of the Caribbean, boats ahead of us were let go ahead a ways to be clear of view, we were then put on our very own boat, and then no boat was let go behind us until we were out of site. We literally had the ride to ourselves. I truly felt special. I was really giddy with happiness.
Then we went to Mexico at Epcot for dinner and there was a 30 minute wait, we did not have Priority Seating. We were immediately taken in and put in a 2 person table right along the water/volcano.
At AK at "Bug's Life", we were taken out of the "regular" line and put into a "special" line and put into what the CM called "love seats" which seat only two people and are in their own area. It was just amazing!

My wife and I leave tomorrow morning for our 10th anniversary. Our presents to each other (along with Christmas too) are Premium Annual Passes. I will make sure to get the Anniversary pins. Maybe we will receive some of the magic you described.

The honeymoon pins are Minnie for the woman and Mickey for the man, it's only of the neck and up. Minnie wearing a bridal gown with the vail and Mickey wearing a tux and top hat. Minnie's says "Bride" and Mickey's Says "Groom". I was embarassed at first, until we started getting comps. Wear them visibly and try to get them seen when you want them seen.

no - anyone can get them...we wore them (and the ears) on our HM.

don't EXPECT magic though...sometimes it happens, some times it doesnt.

any pin station/store will have them.

Anyone can get them. We got them in our resort. Just look through the pins. If you dont see them, just ask. In every park there is a pin store or stand, just ask there.

Also Stinkerbell is right. It may happen, it may not. That is why I said to make sure to make your pins seen. Also dont act like you hate each other and smile at CM's. that HELPS! Make eye contact. if you avoid the CM that could help you, they will avoid you. Look easy to approach and you may be approached.

Example though that it may not happen. We know a CM who got us a nice room at CBR and told them we just got married, yet we had NOTHING special at our resort, yet others have great resort experiences like gift bags and things like that. No matter, the parks really treated us well. Just wear them all the time. Everything I expressed that happened to us was over a 2 week honeymoon there.

I agree, make it obvious that you are on your honeymoon and you might get some extra special magic....however, you can't expect it because it's possible it won't happen and you don't want to be disappointed. I don't know if you can order the pins online but here is a link to the veil and top hat:

DH and I wore these everywhere and we had so much fun We even wore them on the flight to Orlando and we got a bottle of champage from the flight crew...really sweet.....we had lots of pixie dust on our honeymoon and we are so grateful for it....a very special CM named Gisella chose us to be the Grand Marshals in the Stars and Moror Cars parade....so memorable....honeymooning in WDW is the best....hope all of you that are going soon have a magical trip

My DH bought me an Anniversary pin last year when we were in WDW and surprised me with it on our 10th this past November. I wore it all day. My co-workers even asked where he got it from. It is one of my most special gifts.

We too will be wearing our wedding ears on the plane. I can't wait!
