Germany's Biergarten - Do I have to get the buffet?

Can you just go in there for drinks and a pretzel? or just drinks?
Love the atmosphere, but don't want an all out meal.

I don't think that you can. I believe that Disney charges full price for their buffets. If I'm wrong, hopefully someone will come along and correct me.

Try Sommerfest snack QS. They have a few beers, wines and a jumbo pretzel.

Are they still doing the Buffets with Covid? It was just over a year ago that I last had reservations at the Biergarten. The buffet was closed and the waitress would bring us food from the simplified menu that didn't include meatloaf!

You are correct, they don't have pretzels at Biergarten. They usually have pretzel bread dinner rolls, but no actual pretzels.

as noted, that would be pretty expensive for a drink and a couple of pretzel rolls. (Yes the buffet is back)

They have Summerhaus QS right next door for those who don't want a full meal.

Ah, yes. Not being an imbiber, I forgot that alcohol costs extra, particularly now that there's no dining plan including one adult beverage per person at a number of restaurants.
