Germany - wine tasting - has anyone done this?

I would like a little info on where you sit while you are doing the tasting, how much it costs, and if you liked it or not.

When I did it, you didn't sit. You stood at the counter in the wine store. The cast member working there would pour the wines for you and tell you a bit about them. I don't remember how much it costs but I think they're about $8-9 to have 3 or 4 wines. I liked it fine.
