I think it is great that you registered with the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program. Living overseas, we get updates all the time. Basically, be vigilant and avoid crowded places...( ..that always makes me laugh.) Still, we travel on! I hope you have a great time in Germany.

I know that always makes me laugh too! Most places you want to go are crowded and anyone who is concerned enough in the first place to seek info on safety is most likely the type to be vigilant. I like the fact that if in the unlikely event something happens they know we are there and how to get a hold of me and my emergency contact in the US.
