I know it is possible to quench one's thirst in Germany, it is possible to get an authentic German beer. What if one desires an authentic alcohol-free option? Is there Apfelschorle available for purchase?

Non-acholocic, they do have but I forgot the name, Beck NA is pretty tasty, I think that is what they sell

I had the Spatan last year when I was down there. I'm not normally a beer drinker, but I actually enjoyed it.

I've had Spaten's regular beer, and I thought it tasted really yeast-y....I'm more of a Bud Light man myself lol

You can always mix Coke with Fanta Orange (non-cabonated) soda. I think this is what the Mezzo Mix at Club Cool is. We had this in Germany (called "spezie" or something like that). But you have to drink it warm without ice for it to be authentic!

We tried two different types of beer in Germany/Epcot when we were walking around in the July heat in 2007. My husband wanted a lighter beer because it was so hot. I asked for one they recommended. I had the Spaten Optimator. DH tried it. I had to fight dh to get it back! Seriously, I am sitting here in the heat enjoying one as I type. Yum Yum. It is my dh and my favorite beer, and we never had one before that we both agreed on. We convinced a local store to carry it, and we are thrilled! We've talked about sharing one when we return to Epcot in a few days. We will try another as well, but we love our Spaten. And, it is so much fun to say "Optimator"
