Barb - I have complete faith that you will be able to get it right and not let anybody LOOSE on the innocent public! All this "downsizing" has caused alot of extra work for me too, lots of paperwork that was done by another department has been dumped back in our laps, with no extra time or money to get it done. My sympathies are with you!

I know you'll find the right thing to say. YOU said it perfectly for me on a previous post here. You said how important it was for you to be able to share personal things and the atmosphere over there changed so you felt embarrassed for sharing so much. With all the new and unknown people over there, we couldn't do what we do here so well.

Thank you for the info Tutu! It looks like Met B, chronic fatigue, adrenal exhaustion and everything in that category are all interconnected. Isn't it a blessing that we are all on a healing path.

Kathy, your not giving yourself enough credit. I think you'll understand the book fine. Your a very bright woman!

Barb, good thing your getting the practice with the GPS monitoring. Before long we're all going to need them on our L & P's. And it looks like adrenals also.
 
Ok, honest opinions here. I do have some of the ice cream bars. Are they allowed or not? I have only had 3 over the past couple weeks, so it's not an ever day kind of thing. Not like my jello and whipped cream ;)
But if it is not a good thing, I have no problem not eating them. Just want to do this right.

My honest opinion is that Diane said "welcome back to ice cream" about step two. I would not use ice cream on step one at all. I know some people do, but I wouldn't be comfortable with it. :)
 
Do You Have Adrenal Fatigue?

low stamina, slow to recover from exercise
slow to recover from injury, illness or stress
difficulty concentrating, brain fog
poor digestion
low immune function
food or environmental allergies
premenstrual syndrome or difficulties that develop during menopause
consistent low blood pressure
extreme sensitivity to cold

Thank you Nell. All misconceptions I had are now cleared up thanks to you, Robin, and Barb. So much from the other forum has messed me up thinking way. I will be copying the chart and putting it in my purse for shopping and one in the kitchen as well.
I did go over "yonder" today. I honestly don't see myself over there. Aggie said she is going to email Diane about suggestions about making it a better site. I just don't see me there. I will go over once in a while, but that's about it.

I was just reading that stress increases cortisol which increases insulin. That makes sense because insulin is also known as the hunger hormone. So when we're stressed that's why we get carb cravings, our insulin level goes up. Pretty cool to begin understanding all of this.

Lisa, I emailed the place that you gave me the link to. I'm hoping it will be ok with my insulin resistance to try that supplement.
