geraldo gets the boot

He was interviewed "live" about an hour ago on the radio. Says he is still with the 101st Airborne in Iraq, and that this is all a lie. He says if there's not a full retraction by tomorrow, he will file a lawsuit.

He's definately not a favorite of mine and I could really care less, but those are the words from his mouth an hour ago.

I saw him doing an interview session yesterday and I thought it was great. I don't care for him personally either but this was a very good interview session he was doing. I was a bit impressed.

He was just live on Fox news a little while ago surrounded by soldiers saying it was a lie.

Whomever puts any of our soldiers in jeopardy is a traitor and whatever the USA does to him/her isn't enough of a price to pay for the damage that could be caused.

Hmm, interesting. I hadn't heard about this. I'll be looking for updates on this story.

As of this morning he is still embedded and Fox News says they have not been contacted by the Pentagon. This "unnamed source" may have an agenda....things that make you go hmmmmm.......

Thanks for the update Mermaid.
You know, it almost wouldn't surprise me if Geraldo himself, was the "unnamed source".
Ya never know...

exactly...hehehe;)

And he is a whiz at marketing himself.

I personally feel that all the journalists should be removed from Iraq. Our military has enough to worry about without worrying what the journalists are doing.

When did Capone's vault get moved to the Iraqi desert?

Ohhhhhh! I am really laughing over that post!

I remember seeing that special and his expression/attitude at finding it empty was priceless!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for that memory because it really was a "golden moment" - almost as special as hearing William Shatner (Captain Kirk - Star Trek) sing "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds".

Glad you heard it!!!! Leonard Nimoy's singing wasn't much better - so much for that "Golden Throat" album!

My favorite line between Spock and Kirk - "The needs of the many outweight the needs of the few.....or the one."
