Reports just in that Geraldine Ferraro has died at 75.

While the vice presidential nominee for a major party, she was not the first female vp nominee in history.

Oh, how sad, did not hear this today.....so young, wonder what she died of???

says 2001 diagnosed with blood cancer (Leukemia?) and she died from it . Thats actually longer life expectancy with a diagnosis of adult Leukemia, generally it is 5 years, sadly welost a family member at almost 5 years to the day.
Can I just repeat again, cancer Stinks..............why can't we get rid of it, why???????

She died from complications of multiple myeloma. My mother was recently diagnosed with the same cancer.
