Wow. What a charitable man. He donated all the proceeds of a popular track to childline on the proviso that it not be made public… then there was the case where he heard of a married couple having trouble conceiving, so he paid for all their hospital fees, again to be kept a secret… Mix and match that to the fact that he had an AMAZING voice, donated money left right and centre to charities like AIDS benefits, was so soulful... stupendous man.

I remember when George Michael was VERY big in the 80's and when he was part of Wham that skyrocketed him to stardom and when Careless Whisper came out in 1984 it became the most popular love song of the 80's. But when George Michael launched his solo career he branched out even more. Because a lot of girls liked him more than Michael Jackson and during the 80's every teen magazine such as Tiger Beat had George Michael posters because he became a teen idol. But when he made a comeback with the song Fast Love in the 90's George was trying to attract the R&B market because if you listen to the song Fast Love the intro sounds R&B like. But since his death George Michael's albums continue to sell like hotcakes and his greatest hits collection Ladies And Gentlemen is the bestselling album of George's career
