George Michael shuts down his message board

I've often wondered if celebrities read their own websites. Apparently the answer is yes. Poor guy, he's in the midst of a super comeback but apparently didn't like stuff being said about him...

I mean, part of me wants to say he should take the critcism, but I have to wonder how many of the people posting on his board were just trolls...

It's his website, he can do what he wants with it. If I started a website and people kept slamming me on there (which is why I don't have a site up ), I'd sure as heck shut it down!

So it's his site, and he shut the forum on it down. So I don't understand this quote from the article:

It's not a fans' forum, it's his forum. Which he maintains (either actively or by paying someone to do it). So it is "down to George to take his ball home and say 'I'm not playing any more'". He hasn't taken away your freedom of speech. You can say anything you like about him. He just isn't going to pay for the place for you to do it.

Edited to add: sorry, didn't mean to sound argumentative. Just stuff like that irks me.

But sorry to say, but in that picture next to the article he looks awful. What happened?
