So it's his site, and he shut the forum on it down. So I don't understand this quote from the article:

It's not a fans' forum, it's his forum. Which he maintains (either actively or by paying someone to do it). So it is "down to George to take his ball home and say 'I'm not playing any more'". He hasn't taken away your freedom of speech. You can say anything you like about him. He just isn't going to pay for the place for you to do it.
