We are planning an Oct trip and was wondering about location. I haven't been to DIS in years!!!! We were looking at some 2BR condo/timeshares. And was wondering which are closer, specifically for Magic Kingdom? We hope to be able to go to the parks in the morning, spend some time back at the hotel in the afternoon and go back to the parks around 5. Is this realistic from any of these locations?

- Parkway Internatonal
- Orbit One
- Cypress Point Grandvillas
- Silver Lake Resort

Or any other suggestions for 2br w/ kitchen?

Thanks,
Diane.

You should generally allow for 30 minutes of travel time to the major Disney parks from most points on Hwy 192 (Kissimmee), and the Lake Buena Vista area. The actual location of individual resorts may shave a few minutes off that, but I usually build in time for parking (can be a nightmare depending on what time you are arriving at the parks), and general traffic. Hotels on Hwy 192 have greater traffic issues than those in Lake Buena Vista. Rush hour traffic can be a real problem, so consider that when making your choice. Usually, the price difference on 192 justifies any inconveniences with traffic.

Thanks,
Pete
