Do you puchase it in advance? Do you purchase for everyday,select days or daily when you want it? Do you purchase it on MDE? TIA for your help

Depends on your ticket type. If you have an annual pass, the only option is buying day of.

If you bought tickets not in a package through Disney, I believe you may have to purchase daily as well, but you may be able to call ahead of time and get it added for your entire trip.

If you bought tickets as part of a package, you should be able to update your package or you can add day of.

If you are purchasing in advance, you can only do it for the entire trip. If you want only select days, you'll have to purchase day of.

Daily purchases are done in mde in the Genie section.

Also all ILL$ are day of purchases only.

Thank you for the info. I do have AP. So you can purchase anytime during the day of? If I get to the park and it is not to crowded then I dont need it, if it is crowded when we get there then I can purchase? Agin TY for info

Yes, but if you wait to buy it, depending on crowd level and park (HS is worst right now) you might not get any of the bigger rides for a decent time until later in the day. Right now SDD hits mid afternoon shortly after the 7am starting time for making g+ selections.

If you think you'll get it that day, best bet is get it that morning before 7am and get on first thing to get your selection in for an earlier ride time if that fits how you tour the parks.

ETA real world example, SDD g+ is gone already for the whole day as of 11:23am. You can refresh and see if it comes back from people canceling, but thats a crap shoot.

Yes. This a daily paid FP type of system. Not exactly the same but close. $15/person each day you want it. We found it’s great for an MK and HS day where you hop between the two.

Unless you add it to all 4 as part of package, you just buy it every day you want it. Can buy it in morning before the 7am start for making g+ res.

If you know you want Genie+ only for later in the day and are a night owl rather than an early bird, you can purchase for the day starting at midnight. Ability to book specific experiences doesn’t start until 7 am for resort guests, though.
