Genie+ worth it for partial day?

We have a partial day and 2 full days at the parks next week, with PH. On our first day, we’ll probably enter the parks around 2. I’ve been assuming it wouldn’t be worth it to add Genie+ for that day, given the late start. Am I correct? We are adding Genie+ the two full days.

If you have the budget for it, I would add it. Photopass is included at Disneyland, so straight off thats one thing that wont matter what time you enter the parks, you can get some cool night time photos in Galaxys Edge in front of The Millennium Falcon.

Also I was in Disneyland 2 weeks ago, and I was getting Lightning Lane return times right through the afternoon and evening, they are not selling out like in Walt Disney World. Even ROTR individual attraction Lightning Lane I booked in the evening around 5pm.

I am surprised and happy to hear this! Thanks! I read your post on another thread that it’s easy to add on the app. So we will just have to do that each day when we enter the park?

exactly, scan into the park, then just go into the App and add it. I found it easier to just take 5 minutes and sit on a bench and do it, but you may be able to walk and do it it, its just personal preference.

I added a 1-day pass for Sunday so I can see the fireworks (I have a 5-day for Monday-Friday...but they don't sell 6-days) and even though I'll get into the park in the early afternoon I got it for PhotoPass. I figure any rides will be a bonus.

I did get it for the 5-day for PhotoPass but also since it's a holiday week.

Honestly, I totally forgot about the photo pass benefit with Genie+, so I’m excited now!
