How much was 7DMT per person? We used 10 LL and paid for mine cart
I didn't leave it out, I wanted data for people that had purchased Disney Genie. You left out zero. The only park I would consider it at is DHS. we went this am and got a later start than optimal. We arrived about 8:40 so sacrificed Rise. We’ve both been on it previously. Walked on RNR, 15m TOT and TS, 10m ST and done.
Didn’t wait for Smuggler’s cause don’t like it very much. We do miss FP but really don’t want to hand the hypocritical mouse that virtue signals equity while creating a caste system in their parks More money.
We used Genie+ today at Magic Kingdom and had an amazing time. We are not a rope drop family so we arrived at 9:20am and rode Pirates in a 5 minute stand by lane because we already had a LL for haunted mansion planned. After mansion we just kept using the tip board portion of the genie+. Using the tip board allowed us to scroll up and down to see which LL was available next and if we were close enough to use it without back tracking. We used 10 LL and paid for mine cart. We also rode 3 other rides as fillers, while waiting 5-10 mins for the next LL. We also ate at Crystal Palace for lunch. We let the park at 5pm because we felt we had accomplished most everything we wanted to do.
This is where I see myself using it. We have a infant coming with us and I think it will help manage line time.We used Genie+ today at Magic Kingdom and had an amazing time. Ah… Gotcha. One thing I noticed in Genie light. It gives you a ridiculous ride order and hours between picks in the “tips” section. No doubt to encourage more + purchases.I didn't leave it out, I wanted data for people that had purchased Disney Genie.
It’s going to be interesting to watch during busy weeks. There are going to be a lot of PO’ed guests if they purchase G+ and can’t get any useful return times. It’s one thing to complain about the lack of FP+ availability when it was free. It’s quite another to charge guests for something and have it not prove to be useful. $16/pp for Frozen or Beauty shows. No thank you. I foresee people demanding refunds (and yes I know it says no refunds but…)We used it on 7 or 8 rides. We did HS in the morning, and then hopped over to AK. AK we were able to get immediate return times and get on whatever we wanted - but it also wasn't actually necessary at the point either. Most lines were walk ons by that point anyway. HS was a lot harder. We couldn't get a slinky dog until 12ish (with choosing right at 7am) - when we saw an earlier time pop up we lost it because we had to cancel and then rebook, so we never got on that. We had early entry and rope dropped MMRR, then his Toy Story Mania and Alien Swirling Saucers are walk ons by 9am and then RRC with maybe a 10 minute wait. Ended up picking up a ToT for 9:30ish when we lost SD. By the time we were able to use that, many return times were into the afternoon, making it pretty much useless for us us unless we used it for something unnecessary like the Frozen show or Beauty and the Beast. The only other ride at HS we ended up using for was Star Tours because that and Alien Swirling Saucers were the only ones you could get close return times for. I don't think we'll be using it again unless we go to MK.
Im trying to figure this out without being there - we go in mid December. So…may I ask, when you say you were using Genie+ is that the one that’s $15 pp?I like this scenario, I also think magic kingdom is a park that makes the most sense for Genie+ based on the sheer number of attractions.
$10 per personHow much was 7DMT per person?
Good thread, just what I want to see. I would ask if folks comment answer .... if you were an FP+ user, how many did you usually roll after your 3 advance? And was this easier, harder, less flexible etc as a comparison.
I am an AP holder and when I could plan my fast passes we typically would do the 2 or 3 rides and head back to the resort for drinks or pool time. Once a year or so we would have a challenge to see how many we could get in a day. Most we ever attained was 14. Again we aren’t rope drop people so I’m sure you can get more and do more as you learn the system. Have a great trip.
