Genie plus when some of our party is off site

3 adults staying onsite. 2 adults staying off site. Was hoping I could find a room for all 5 adults (paying for the xtra adult charge of the two off site people), for the sole reason of being able to book our Genie plus together each day. Unfortunately, there are no rooms that will hold 5 of us for the dates in early November we are looking for, and no dates renting DVC points either..There is also no availability for onsite rooms for the 2 adults..Am I correct that this is the only way for all of us to book Genie plus together (with all of us staying in a room on site..or the two fininding an on site room by themselves? ) I assume there is no way to link the two off site people so we can book Genie plus together at 7:00 am. I would be willing to purchase the tickets for all 5 of us when we go to add them to our room only reservation....TIA!

G+ is available to both on-site and offsite guests at 7 AM. There is a difference for ILL$ (on-site can book starting at 7 AM, offsite must wait until park opening). As long as you are linked under Friends & Family in MDE and everyone has a reservation for the same park (or hoppers if you want to stack evening G+ at a different park) then you should have no problem booking G+ for everyone.

Oh thanks for the info..so there is no issue with Genie plus for offsite guests then, but there is no way to link them to my room reservation for lightning lane?

You cannot put them on your room reservation unless your room has a capacity for 5 adults. And if it does, you will pay the extra adult nightly fee, which currently runs between $15-$35 per extra adult per night depending on the level of your resort.

BTW, "lightning lane" is the term used for the physical queue that you enter. "Individual Lightning Lane $election" is the name for the the attractions that are extra $ and are not included in G+.

I have a sort of similar question. My two teenage kids are going to be at DHS with Genie plus on their own, without me. Can they log into MDE under my account, and make G+ reservations for themselves while at DHS, even though I won't be at the park?
