We are staying at the Yacht Club so will be using the early park entry, heading to Remy first, then Frozen, and then Soarin', Nemo, Living with the Land, and then spend some time in the aquarium. The only other ride we really want is Guardians of the Galaxy. (Virtual Queue or Individual Lightning Lane?). The rest of the day will be spent touring World Showcase and enjoying the Food and Wine Festival. Is Genie + really needed for this day? There are 9 adults and 2 babies in our party if that makes a difference. I don't want to spend that extra money if it's not necessary.

Thank you for your help - we haven't been to Disney since Feb. 2020 and so much has changed!

I would say definitely not.

You're not guaranteed to be able to pick both Remy and Frozen - they're the two highest in demand picks, and because EPCOT has very few attractions that actually get long lines, Genie+ would only be worthwhile if you could actually get all 3 of them (also Test Track), and you definitely can't. At busy times you can't even get 2 of the 3.

Even if you could be guaranteed to get both Remy and Frozen.... you're not too likely to even need Genie+ to skip lines on the other rides you named.

I think you can easily get Remy and Frozen done with minimal waits during early entry. I'm sure you can catch the others with minimal waits throughout the day as well (Nemo and LwtL pretty much never have waits.)

For Guardians, I'd definitely try for the VQ right at 7am. The ILL isn't likely to sell out before park opening so you have time to choose to buy it. I'd probably save the money and roll the dice on the 1pm VQ if I didn't get the 7am one as it tends to last longer, but if you didn't want any risk, you could buy it as soon as you don't get the 7am one.

If I were only buying one, personally, I'd buy the ILL before Genie+ for EPCOT but I would bet you can get away with neither.

I'm a second vote for no, G+ is not needed. We do Epcot sans Genie and have only done iLL$. We've never felt G+ is needed in Epcot or AK and while I'm sure some people have use and value for it, I would think for a large party, the costs would outweigh the benefit at Epcot given the smaller number of headliners. Between RD, iLL$ & virtual queue for Guardians and/or getting in line during fireworks/park close, you can really accomplish a great deal at Epcot in one day.
