Hi All
We will be spending 14 days at WDW in the coming weeks and plan to see MK & HS at least 3 times each. For the first day of our trip we are heading to MK, should we get the Genie+ for this day or plan to get it the second of third time? Wondering what the best strategy is. We were thinking of just easing in and not getting it for the first day

If I was doing Rope Drop or Early Entry the first day, I would probably skip the G+ and just use the App to get used to using it the first day. But give yourself permission to change to the G+ if you're getting frustrated with long lines.

Occasionally, I just go - fine, here's the G+ money, gimmie a shorter line ;) In the overall cost of a Disney trip, the G+ is a pretty small percentage for most people. And standing in line can range from interesting (a cool theme view) to exhausting (direct sun or tired feet), so it matters how the day is going too.

thanks Tink, ya good call. we'll likely pick it up one of the other days. I just don't want to purchase g+ for all 10 of our park days. that gets pricey

We recently returned from a longer trip with 8 park days. We didn't get Genie+ for the first days when we were fresh. We purchased Genie+ for the last 3 days of our trip as a bit of a treat.

Worked great as at the beginning we were happy to wait in the lines and by the end it was a treat to wait less.
