OK so in October DW and I are going to Vero Beach for the first time. We are planning one day at Epcot F&W. We will be staying at a DVC resort but will this allow us to make Genie+/LL reservations at 7 AM or only after park opening?

The DVC, is it a WDW resort or the Vero Beach DVC?

If WDW, you can book both Genie+ and ILL$ passes starting at 7am.

If VB, I'm not sure if that's eligible for 7am ILL$, but everyone is eligible to select the regular Genie+ passes at 7am.

Also, if GotG Boarding Groups are still around in October, you'll be eligible for that at 7am as well.

Yes its DVC Vero Beach Resort and just not sure if that meets the resort definition that allows 7 AM reservations.

We will be in the exact same boat in August. Three days at Vero then four at WDW. I'm assuming that on our transfer day it will allow us to buy G+ because we have a WDW DVC resort booked for that night, plus a park pass and so on. It's no different than any first arrival day at Walt Disney World. I know in March on our last visit I was allowed to book G+ and ILL from the airport at home because we were checking in on that day. However, it's possible this is different now since you cannot pre-buy G+ any more. We will have to see, but I'm certainly hoping and assuming we are good to purchase G+ on that day with a valid WDW DVC resort res for that night and theme parks tickets.

We will see if anyone has any practical experience on whether or not they were prohibited to purchasing G+ on their WDW check in day...

I don't believe Vero Beach DVC would be eligible for the 7am ILL$ drop. Here's the list of eligible hotels according to touring plans. doesn't hurt to try though.

Your resort stay doesn't play into being eligible to purchase Genie+ or book a G+ LL at 7am.

It does however play into being eligible for the Individual Lightning Lanes at 7am. On the day Guests check into or out of a Disney World hotel, they are eligible for ILL$ at 7am
