Genie+ and ILL with traveling party doing different things

We will be traveling to DLR at the end of May. For our DD's 16th birthday, we are letting her take a friend. It will be the first time traveling to Disney Parks with someone other than the 3 of us (me, DH, DD).

Since my DD and her friend will probably be doing their own thing in the parks, I am wondering about the Disney app, Genie+ and ILL...should I get her a separate account with her and her friend's ticket? I'm worried about her booking Genie+ rides for me and my DH accidentally if she is in the app logged in as me, having access to all 4 tickets.

I am familiar with Maxpass...but have not been to DLR since Genie+ and ILL. So I'm not sure how easy it is to only select certain members for each ride, etc.

When you go to book a LL, it’ll show a list of all eligible tickets tied to your account. Assuming you have everyone’s name assigned to their ticket, you just select which people you want to book the LL for.
