Broadway musical!

Concerts are too much like work to me since I work in the Music Industry. :rotfl:

I love plays, musicals, and concerts, but nothing compares to my love of baseball. Put me in a ballpark and I'm a happy camper. :thumbsup2

I voted concert....if its a concert I want to see...lol
I'd like to see the Braves play first tho...

and as far as musicals.... I want to see these 3
1-Cats
2- Wicked
3- Nutcracker (only play I've ever seen)

I'm not someone to go to sport events.
I don't like any artist enough to spend a lot of money on a concert by just that artist. However, I do go to events like "night of the proms" or "disney life in concert", where different artists perform.
And I could go to musicals every day. Reminds me I have to order my tickets for this fall: Daens, Ciske De rat, Annie, Evita, and maybe Tarzan!

depends on the show but generally a concert or a hockey game.

Heavy, thrashing, loud concert in a small bar with good friends any day over a sporting event.
Musical/ play would be second if it was one I wanted to see.

We are charger season ticket holders.
I saw Lion King on broadway with my family, it was the longest 2 hours of my life. I loved the parade at Disneyland and thought I would enjoy the show, I HATED IT. I will never see a musical again. I had the oppurtunity to see Mary Poppis in London, my favorite Disney movie and passed big time due to the horror that was the Lion King.

Nothing beats a Rick Springfield concert! I'm going again in less than 2 weeks! :thumbsup2

Although I certainly wouldn't pass up Pats tickets either!

Allyson

Wow.... this poll is nothing like I thought it would be. I figured almost an equal part for all 3.

I never pass up tickets for the Steelers! I also make every Pgh Passion game!
So Sporting events would be #1.

After that concerts. :thumbsup2

Concert or Broadway show would be tied (depends on who/what is playing). Sporting event would be a distant 3rd, unless it's the Cubs at home and I've got box seats (did that once, it was sweet!).

Definitely Broadway.

Concerts, I only go see Springsteen now, he's the only one worth the hassle and the money.
The horror that is the Meadowlands with the building of the new Giants Stadium and the Xanadu project makes going there for concerts a huge hassle. Usually it takes ages to get out of the traffic jammed parking lot. If you're very unlucky with parking you have to shuttle bus over to the stadium..it's just not worth it.

Sports-I like some, it's just pricy and I like the comforts of home. Football you freeze, baseball you bake out in the sun and there's public bathrooms and no pause like on my TV.. LOL But if I get free tickets I'm there.

Broadway: easy peasy to get too, especially on a Sunday when the city is quieter and there's no traffic. I can get from my house to the theater in about 20/25 minutes on a Sunday afternoon.
Park in a garage steps away from the theater, go in see the show(and I LOVE musicals!), be back home in a half hour.

Concert. Not only would I rather go to a concert than a play or sporting event, I'd rather go to a concert than breathe. It is my favorite thing to do. I'm pretty open minded about who I see also. But I miss the days when we could afford to check out a band in concert just on a whim or out of curiosity. Now I have to practically take out a loan to afford tickets. So I need to keep track of who is going on tour when and pick and choose carefully.
