1. Sporting event

3. A Broadway quality play or musical?

For me it is a concert for sure. I don't generally like plays or musicals, and if my home team loses, well, I don't walk away happy.

For me, a play or musical. But I would prefer a musical. :)

Hockey game would be first (no other sporting events really interest me), followed by a Broadway play. I don't really care about attending concerts.

NFL Games

I hate getting messed over at concerts. I am 5 foot 2 inches and everyone stands up and I can't see the person I paid $250 to see. Oh, but I can usually watch the Jumbotron. I have a 62 inch TV at home, so no, thanks!

I find Broadway Musicals too dumb for me. Yes, I know the singers are great and such, but really, why do you need to break into song over meeting a girl named Maria? My mom and sister made me see The Producers. Good god, that was horrible. It had Martin Short and Jason Alexander in it too. Not my cup of tea but if you like that stuff, more power to you.

Plays? Maybe. I do enjoy really good Shakespeare and comedies.

But for my money and my time and my ticketmaster fees and parking fees, football is the only way to go. I enjoy baseball, too.

And sorry guys, I'm already married! :rotfl:

Definetly a Steeler football game. No other sporting event makes the grade.

In 2nd place would be a showing of the Phantom of the Opera.

Musical!!!

Going to see the Grinch at the Wang Theate in Nov. and Chicogo (again) in Dec. Both in Boston.

Broadway. I just saw The Lion King when it was in Columbus this past month, and it was amazing. I really enjoy musicals and plays.

Broadway for me all the way! I actually found out late Sunday night that one of my favorite broadway shows is closing in less than two weeks. Since I only live 2 hours away from NYC, my twin and I got tickets and are going to the matinee of Legally Blonde this Sunday! I love broadway!!!!

Sporting event for sure. Concerts are just too darn expensive now days, and I can't get into Broadway shows.

I wouldn't pass up an evening at any of them! :)

That said, I chose sporting event. DH and I love going to hockey games - it's a casual, fun way to spend an evening. And when we're on vacation, there's almost nothing I'd rather do than see a baseball game.

I enjoy going to concerts, but it has to be someone I really want to see. Love musicals/plays too, but in my area we don't have a ton of that, especially broadway quality. Every once in a while, though, a good one comes to town - just last week I went to see CATS, and it was terrific.

1. Broadway show/play
2. Concert

I'd rather clean toilets than attend sporting events.

I love concerts, especially the symphony.
