General Wedding Questions

2 must be my number.. I think I always have 2 questions at a time haha.

For an intimate wedding with just the 2 of us, who would be holding the rings since there is no ring bearer? Would we each carry each others or would the officiant hold them?

This is probably the most random.. but do you just not wear your engagement ring during the ceremony, or do you put it on the other hand? I'd be so afraid I'd lose it somewhere haha.

WELL....when we got married in 1997....rev Jack day held the rings for us
and i just wore my engagement ring & had him slide it on with it & i switched it around later that day

The officiant would probably hold your rings, or you could have your fiance hold them.

I wore my engagement ring on my right hand for the ceremony and moved it back immediately afterwards.

the only thing was chris forgot what finger my wedding ring should go on (he was nervous bless him) so looked for the engagement ring and went for that finger lol

This is too cute! I can see my DF doing this. He went to put my e-ring on my index finger when we got engaged!

i had my sister wear my engagement ring during the ceremony because it's too small to fit on my other hand!

oh, and i put mark's ring on his right hand...

Like the others said, I assume the officiant would hold your rings.

For the engagement ring, I wore mine on my left hand until the ring ceremony. I told DH the night before that my engagement ring would be on the WRONG hand so he should put my wedding ring on the "naked" hand.
