Any way. I'm excited for Andor. DD17 has shown interest in watching the first season so she can watch the 2nd with us. I think will be easier for her to take as more of a binge. I'm excited to rewatch it as we got a 4K projector since the series came out and it should look fantastic.

Starting a rewatch myself in preparation. Very excited for this next season of Andor. Luthen's Sacrifice speech has become part of my husband's my banter... What have you sacrificed? Everything....

I think there's enough Star Wars out there at this point that we can all watch what we like and ignore what we don't, right? Personally TLJ is my favorite Star Wars movie*, and the upcoming Rey movie is the single future Star Wars thing I'm most excited about. The Disney+ series have gone in a direction I'm not as interested in, so I don't watch them or think about them.

I think what some "OT-only" fans don't realize is that the ST is as personally meaningful to its fans as the OT was to them. Now they could argue that Star Wars was their franchise, and we should go get our own, but personally I like the idea of there being a Star Wars for everyone.

*Although I will grant that the green milk scene was gross.

I plan to rewatch Andor soon. I figure to wait until it's a little closer, then watch Rogue One after the end of S2.

Yes, I believe that is correct. They were originally going to do five seasons, each one year closer to Rogue One, but that would have taken them another 150 years or so, based on how fast they get streaming shows out, so they are doing several arcs in S2 that will move closer to the movie.

the shows are being released in batches of three, with time jumps happening in between.

I am very excited for Andor Season 2 but it’s going to be so hard to watch. I can’t read the new book The Mask of Fear for the same reasons.

I am so meh on that movie, but it will be nice to see more era’s represented in Galaxy’s Edge. Rise of the Resistance is perfect (when it’s not broken), but updating Smuggler’s Run missions makes sense.

You make it sound like they're running away from the current storyline when it's obvious that they're running toward a storyline that will help promote the new movie (and vice versa).

The current Smuggler's Run has nothing to do with the sequels. The mission seems like it was inspired by a scene in Solo, and I think Hondo Ohnaka is a character from one of the animated series.

I've enjoyed the current version of the ride but I'm also excited to see the new one!

I said from the beginning that galaxies edge needed to represent all eras of SW. Instead Disney stupidly chose ST only. It was a stupid move they are now doing what they should have all along and made it more for all of SW.

It was a mistake one of many since Disney had been in charge of SW.

Luke is also coming to galaxies edge in Cali.

It was inspired by Solo, but it takes place during the ST era because you’re getting coaxium for the Resistance. The story doesn’t really matter, though - all anyone cares about is flying the Falcon.

Not to mention, Rise of the Resistance is going nowhere and that's 100% set in the sequel timeline. They will still have Kylo Ren and Rey characters in the land.

Yeah, I hope they just lean into having every era represented and not caring about a timeline anymore. Like in Avengers campus.
