We are planning to visit Sea World in San Antonio for a day - I'm hoping the advice you can give me for Orlando will help out for San Antonio! It's been years since I've been to Sea World in Orlando - so much has been added and I need advice on the recommended way to experience the park. Is is best to try to feed the dolphins and see the other animals early in the day and hit the Shamu and sea lion shows later? Or is it better to do other things first? Do most people do one thing first - so we should head for something else?

Any assistance would be great! Thanks!

I cant speak from experience on teh San Antonio side, however, since I have annual passes to SW, I generaly do the following to maximize the experience.

Normally what I do, is to hit the scheuled shows first, since they are normally limited in the number of times shown. Then I make sure that as I do the other attractions, such as Wild Arctic, I try to avoid the times that Shamu has just let out, as it feeds directly to WA.Ill go during a Shamu show, and the same goes for attractions near the other major shows. Usually, well make a big half circle, then go backwards on the same half circle to catch the smaller attractions and exhibits. If there is special night shows, like Sea Lions Tonight, or Shamu Rocks, well figure that in in advance, so that we are near the stadium when it first opens, so we get a seat. Usually in between the day shows and the night shows, theres a break, and well have something to eat, then continue from there.Generally speaking, when you look at the show times, at least here in Fl, thers a pattern that will take you from one show to the next with 20 minutes or so inbetween.
