General Resort Questions?

We're possibly going to universal next summer so I'm just gathering general info right now so I'm more prepared when I need to do serious planning. We're a family of 5 so can we really all stay in one room and all get the FOTL passes? Do we need to get a rollaway or can we bring a sleeping bag? Since you can pool hop it might be fun to go to all the pools, but are they close enough to walk to or would it be a pain to pool hop? I've looked all over and can't find a picture of the pool slide at HRH, is the slide worth staying here over the cheaper resort?

Any other general info for a 1st timer? We'd be staying 2 nights with a 3 day pass and I have AAA for any discounts. Kids will be 17, 15 & 9.

Thanks, Calie

Welcome!

Yes you can really all stay in one room and everybody will get a hotel key, which will be your FOTL card. But 5 is the max in the rooms.

No, renting a rollaway is not mandatory. You can bring a sleeping bag or do what many of us do - bring an aero bed.

The pools are within walking distance of each other - albeit a good walk, especially if you want to walk from RPR to PBH. But you can always take the boat - which is a nice relaxing ride.

Somebody posted pics of the HRH pool recently. Do a search for HRH pool and you might be able to find it.

:thumbsup2 Yes, as Goofy said.. Universal realizes that not everyone has 2 or less children ;)
