I'm new to this, so I apologize if this question has been asked a million times. I have noticed that under each person's user name, it says something like "Welcomed Guest" or "DIS Veteran". Where does this come from?

By the way, I love reading these boards, it's my new addiction!

When you get to 75 posts, you are automatically a vet.

Yes, when you reach 75 posts you become a DIS Vet, until then you are a Welcomed Guest.
As for Rich, you need to read his posts to understand that his answers are taken "with a grain of salt". I like to see what Rich has come up with because he makes this board interesting. Welcome to DIS and I hope you get as much enjoyment out of it as I have.

PS Wait until you get into DVC and go to WDW for the first time at your own "Home away from Home", then you know you are hooked. It's great!
