General public discounts on sites!

Thanks to Disneylitch's post on the other thread about discounts I checked through the link on the Disney World home page "save up to 25%". Campsites are showing up!

I called and was able to save about $5 per night by going from preferred to premium (there wasn't preferred available for my whole reservation.

At first the CM told me that it was only for the cabins, but when I told her it was showing up online she checked and I think she said she used code QOI, not QNY the one that is listed on the webpage.

So if you have a reservation it can't hurt to check!

Thanks for the info. I just saved $100 on my 6 night stay starting Tuesday. It's all in who you talk to. Last week I checked and was told nothing was available.

Just book for August 14 to August 28, 2010. I just made sure I plugged the dates in online before I called. That way if there was a problem, I had the info in front of me. Save me almost $200.

I just tried to get this for my Dec stay at FW. She was saying it only went out to August.

We just checked on this for our stay in june ane it was only avail for tent or full hook up. so if this is what you are doing call now and maybe they will bless you with a discount.

Just hung up the phone mere seconds ago and I saved $100 on my stay in June. The code the CM gave me was QOY. It does help spend your work day ond disboards. I was told there are a limited ammount of discounts available so if anyone is interested, you better get on it. Thanks to all my fellow diser's out there for sharing. Yall are the best.

Are you guys getting the run around I called and they said BLAH BLAH your staying on the land not in a building, its notr being offered. But then she says it is if you stay in the cabins and buy your park passes and get the meal deal.
What do I do we are requesting perferred we have stayed every year for over 35 years. What do I do.

The CM I spoke to asked me if I was staying in a tent site and told her yes. She also gave me the correct code for the discount. She quoted me how much we had left to pay before and after the discount was applied. You might want to call back and speak to someone else.

Just called up ( twice ) and they checked. Said yes the code for full hookups over 5 night stays is qov but they only have so many and they are gone.

Do you know what the dates are that this is available? I've tried my April dates online, but haven't been able to get anything to come up.

It is available for the sites and it is available until August. I plugged everything in on line and then called. That way if there was a problem I had all info in front of me. My reservations are for a full hook up beginning August 14. Even though August 14 is technically the last day for the discount, I still received the discount. The CM first told me that I had to buy a package and then she double checked. There are alot of different discounts going on now and that is the problem. Some include the campsites and some do not.
Like I said, pull the info up on line first and you shouldn't have a problem.

Ugh! I just called for my dates April 7-11 in a premium campsite and the lady kept telling me that all of the codes are for cabins only. I told her that I knew people that were able to get the discount for a campsite and she kept saying no. I'm going to call back at a later time and see if I get a different answer from another CM.
