General public discounts of 30%-40% off room rates are available at Walt Disney World resort hotels for stays 8/15/10-10/2/10, or 15%-30% off for stays 5/2/10-8/14/10.

I think it's all the Free Dining Posting going on over in the Dining Forum. Apparently that promo started today for August 14th through sometime in October, if anyone is interested.

I have been able to snag a 15% off room only discount for the middle of June for a preferred campsite. It took me about a month of trying and looking! I had a premium booked, and switch to the discounted preferred when it was available... saved me about $25 per night. Yeah, I like my $150 right in my pocket, and I don't need a bigger premium site

Just clicked on for August 15 to August 28 and it gave me a discount. Can you believe it???

How are the discounts for later in the fall? We have APs and AAA but I just assumed the campground wasn't included. Doesn't it usually book up at full price?

It's been a while since we've stayed at Ft. Wilderness. It's going to be interesting to see how much things have changed.

Discounts haven't been released after 10/2 yet. You can try for AP or AAA now and if a better discount comes along add that to your ressie. I find the AAA is being accepted only on premiums now, anyone else had luck with full or preferred?

We got an AP discount for October 2009. Just try the passholder telephone number and see what happens.
