I was just able to apply ZXF to my ressie for Jan 6th.

I do not have a visa but was still able to apply it.

I told the CM that I did not have a VISA and she said that it was OK, I didn't need it.

I called a friend and she tried and they said NO.

I called back CRO and double checked and another CM said there was a 3 day block on the codes for Disney Visa card holders but that has been lifted and it is now open to the general public.

Based on the OP's luck, I called to see if I could get the code without the Visa, but it didn't work for me! Guess I'm going to have to be patient until in the morning..

If/when a general code comes out tomorrow, what time can you start calling to get it added? We're staying at ASMo from 1/6-1/11 so I'm hoping that a code can still be applied at that resort for us.

I called, and I couldn't use it, but the CM did tell me what my cost will be when the general code becomes available, and as long as the code will work for my existing ressie tomorrow I'll be saving $200! By my rough calculation that would be the free ticket upgrades and a 15% room discount. Fingers crossed tomorrow!

How much of a discount was it?

My discount was $450.

I had 2 adults 2 kids (14,12) Jan 6-12. Satying at the Contemporary with park hoppers and dining for $4201 and with the code it was $3751.

I don't understand why the CM is spoke to said I could use the code when other people have not been able to. That is why I called and double checked.

I was offered a room only discount today at the AKV for a studio-savanna view or 1 bedroom standard or savanna view. I pasted because I was looking for a studio-value view. They are out there, but you do have to get the CM to look for you. The AKV doesn't seem to come up for review online. Someone posted that they got a studio value view for $129 a night -- a great bargain. They offered my studio-savanna for $175 a night. (all before taxes)
