I missed the end of yestday's show and the first 1/2 hour of this show. Did something happen between Sonny and Brenda?

They kissed, then Alcazar showed up and threatened to kill B. and made Sonny drop his gun. But, alas.....Jason and Karly arrived to save the day. BTW, Brenda ran away and right into quick sand! Funny scene with Karly trying to pull B. out!
