General Hospital watchers??

OK I've been a fan of GH for over twenty years.........I have bouts of watching every day to bouts of watching once a month! Something has me completely confused.......I must have missed something big because this makes absolutely no sense to me.......HOW IN THE WORLD ARE NED AND SKYE DATING WHEN THEY ARE FIRST COUSINS????

The last I knew Ned Ashton is Tracy Quartermaine's son and Skye is Alan Quartermaine's daughter............Tracy and Alan are brother and sister making Ned and Skye first cousins!! Did I miss something????
I know the soaps get out of hand with their storylines BUT the last I checked INCEST was not one of them (people knowingly doing it, anyway)

Can someone shed some light on this for me??

Skye is NOT Alan's daughter..her mother lied..Skye and Ned are not related..so the storyline is building them into a relationship..sorry, but I can't recall offhand if they said who her real father is..but we know that it's NOT Adam Chandler or Alan Quartermaine!

I thought I was losing my mind!!! I definitely missed that episode!! I still hope for Ned and Alexis to get back together....she's a little off her rocker BUT I loved them together!!

As far as I know, Skye's father is still up in the air: they've only excluded the 2 mentioned already.
