I have spent all day today at our local A & E department with my DH

Here I was yesterday moaning about him being unwell and not being able to have a family day out

He's been kept in overnight and is waiting to have a CT scan.

hey everyone, ive had a good few days away in Essex visiting family. all my little nieces and nephews have grown loads.
very tired today after the journey home, it was terrible driving in the rain- so tiring.

Matt got to work tomorrow night but we may go to the cinema during the day. Sunday we are going to Coventry to watch Everton play,cant wait to surprise son with that.

this weather is dreadful, i had to put my heating on this morning

Morning everyone

Nothing exciting going on over here today. I'm off to Asda to get some food in soon, then I'm popping into town later (woohoo ! the excitements too much )

Hopefully I'll get to F&B's for a small glass of white zinfandel this evening (I'm playing taxi driver tonight)

Morning all

I'm shattered today, I couldn't sleep last night because I couldn't stop thinking about our holiday! I kept remembering stuff I need to do before we go, I ended up getting up at 3:30am to add the stuff to my to do list and then taking a sleeping tablet

I'm so excited now I feel sick to my stomach and I keep getting massive addrenaline rushes! Dh thinks I have lost the plot!

Well the kids voted to go to the cinema, we saw Coraline, it was really good.

The Girls have gone off to a cheerleading class for a few hours now and we are just having lunch !

LOL, I'm exactly the same. My problem is that if I wake in the night, that's it I'm not able to get back to sleep. Thankfully I haven't been awake much before 6am this week, so I haven't been too bad - I'm not sure if it'll get worse over the next week though

Afternoon. I'm still off from work due to my back which isn't showing signs of improving yet I will see how it is over the weekend, I think I may end up being signed off by my GP which i'm worried about regarding work as I have only just started properly a couple of weeks back.

I went shopping with my friend today to get the last of my niece's birthday present as its her joint party tomorrow with her brother.

What a day! Took today off work as we were getting carpets fitted in our two spare rooms...and they brought the wrong sized carpets!! After a few cross words and a visit to showroom managed to get it all sorted out and now they look lovely

Got 10 friends from uni staying this weekend so were going to be busy!

Evening all....Had a busy day sorting some stuff out around the house & doing some housework.

I just made a lovely chicken & mushroom risotto for dinner, it was yummy so we will be having that again. Going to kick back with a glass or two and watch the tv now, not that there is anything on.

I am feeling really stressed & restless today. My mum rang first thing this morning to say she & my sister were taking my dad to a&e as he is not well (all related to a stomach ulcer and other problems he has). They told me to wait & they would let me know what's happening when they got there, so three hours later & my sister just called to say that they have admitted my dad to the day ward for tests & x rays etc but she is going home as due to swine flu they are only letting one person stay with each patient (my mum).

I just feel useless sat here waiting to here what is going on as in the past I have been there with them.
