hey everyone, week 2 of the school hols for me.
still going slow, ive been busy decorating our dining room. slow going as i dont really have any spare time. so painting in 10 minute slots
should be finished by christmas

Week 2 ??!!

DD hasnt finished yet - she breaks up on Wednesday and is really looking forward to it - especially not having to have sandwiches for lunch every day

DD is on her first week off - she has been quizing me on Disney today, hope to get out some time this week.

Good morning, I can't sleep (too excited?) Looks like I might be waking up before I go to bed next Tuesday at WDW!!!

I really must sort out my body clock.

Penultimate day at school today. Lots of clearing up to do, meeting our new classes and then retirement assembly for Year 2 teacher this afternoon. We're saying goodbye to 3 other members of staff tomorrow.

July brings such mixed emotions, sadness at people going, sad to say goodbye to 30 little friends who are moving into year 2 and to year 6 who I still remeber as 6 year olds, relief we've made it to the end of term, excitement at forthcoming holidays and looking forward to getting to know the new year 1 class.

I've just got to stay healthy for a bit longer!!!

Morning everyone, its beautiful up here. I'm up early this morning as we are off to get the boys haircuts and to get the last small bits for the holidays and also about 5 birthday presents. Why do so many people have birthdays around now?

Its overcast here but at least its not raining yet.

Getting soaked is good practice for florida too in my experience

I think we had that a couple of weeks ago.

We had a lovely retirement assembly today for one of or teachers.

I've also collected my money and travellers cheques. Dh texted to say our envelope from VH has arrived (but he's got it at work - and I started turning the living room upside down searching for it!!! )

Not doing a lot this evening - searching around the kitchen to see what we've got left for tea (I think I've started running down supplies a little too early.)

My busch gardens and US/IOA tickets arrived today

It's the foundation kids' last day today and we play outside in all weathers but luckily there is a large canopy so we have some respite from the all too common rain! We've all been dancing to the Mamma Mia soundtrack outside and playing pass the parcel and having party food inside I enjoy my job usually but today has been extra fun though quite sad that we won't see a lot of the kids again, hope they all enjoy 'big school'

I've been checking out the symptoms online and it seems that a temperature of over 38 is the main indicator - from what I've read, you pretty much know if you've got it within a couple of hours because you feel really awful. I hope you haven't got it!
