That makes sense. I bought my last ones in a sale and paid about £12 each I think. I don't want sheets as I prefer smaller towels. Think I might bite the bullet, once I've decided on a colour.

Well I have been up an hour already....why can't I sleep???? I will need some matchsticks later.

Not much planned for today other than housework & food shopping....it looks like a bomb has gone off in my lounge. What are your plans for the day?

Good morning, I've just got up myself. I'm sitting here with a huge cup of tea. 3 more days at school - lots of leaving dos, quite a sad time even if we're all looking forward to the summer hols.

I'm hoping that DS's i-pod has dried outthis morning! I machine washed it yesterday!!! (Why couldn't it have been DD's £15 mp3 player instead of his £100+ i-pod he bought with his first paypacket??)

It should be OK once dry - I'm quite an expert at washing electronic equipment (I've even machine wahed and tumbled dry DH's memory stick). On the other hand my family are good at keeping electronic stuff in their pockets!!

I've got work today. And my mum and dad are getting back from 2 weeks in Barbados, so we'll see them at some point and be jealous of how tanned they are I'm sure!

ive got a new child coming for 3 hrs this morning on a trial run before she starts fully, she is very quiet and timid so i hope she is ok !

Morning, you lot certainly get up very early, I struggle to get out of bed before 9am. The kids only waken about 8.30am and then I need a while to convince myself to get out of bed. I would be asleep by dinner time if I was up as early as you lot. Mind you it is school holidays so I've no need to be up earlier.

Nothing planned for today apart from trying to pack for Spain, I just can't get motivated.

At work today. I usually work until 3.00pm 4 days a week but in school hols I work until 5pm 3 days a week. It's always seems strange the first day I work until 5.00pm - I'd eaten my dinner by 11.30!!!

The i-pod is very sick!!! It works when plugged into the pc but the battery won't charge up. DH is giving it CPR at the moment but it looks like I might be buying a new one.

(I'd like to get it in duty free on Monday but he then won't be able to put his stuff on it to listen to on the plane.)

Could he take a laptop with him with the songs he wants on, and then set the iPod up from there?

We only have DDs 17" laptop which we really don't want to lug around with us (probably couldn't get it into a ASMu safe anyway).

What would we save at duty free - £15? Might be worth getting one in town on Saturday just for the convenience.

Good evening everyone just been doing the gloss work in the kitchen - the decorating in there is nearly finished! the blind I ordered online arrived today and fits Just searching the internet trying to find something nice to put on the walls now

still going slow, ive been busy decorating our dining room. slow going as i dont really have any spare time. so painting in 10 minute slots
should be finished by christmas
