I admit I had a bit of a moment last week when hubby came down with his cold/flu symptoms. I started googling like mad but then that can cause you even more stress.

Jen, i feel your anxiety trust me. i have asthma and even a cold flares it up chronically so would be trouble for me. sadly its all around me at the mo. A girl on caras school bus had it, luckily she has finished school now. at the boys school there are 4 cases, i know plenty of people who know someone who has it. But have decided to carry on as normal really, i want to enjoy my week with cara before the boys finish, and not ready for school holidays to start early in this house
if it messes with my holiday I am gonna be seriously miffed though, much more important than my health

Just out of interest do you know if any of the childrne who were sat near the girl on the bus caught it off her? Just wondering how easy it is to catch?

Cara sat directly in front of her, the girl was coughing on the bus and she didnt catch it, this was last monday so if it was going to develop it would have done by now. school closed on friday and there were no other cases reported by then. Hopefully this may make you feel a little better

Been to our last Brownie meeting of term this evening. I do enjoy it but feel such a relief when I know I've got a little break from running meetings.

Came home and made Mickey Waffles.

Not followed any soaps for a long time as I never seem to be at home at the same times each week.

Trying not to get into a panic about swine flu. There's a bad vius sweeping through the school where I work at the moment - not been confirmed as swine flu but we're all very suspicious. I am worried as we fly out to WDW in 14 days - if we have to cancel it will be just that as I don't know when we'll be able to reschedule as DS is off to university in the autumn and I'm tied to school holidays by my job. I seem to have a permanent sore throat (maybe I just talk too much!)

Now Kevin is one character I do remember. If he's the one I think he was (married to Sally and their daughter born in a taxi in Rosamund St?) then I saw him at MGM studios in 2002!

I am working this morning, pre school is moving building so I have a lot of lifting and shifting to do after the children have gone home.

This afternoon I need to make a to do list as i need to get organised for the boys birthdays, i seem to be so forgetful, im sure its because my head is full of wdw

I'm working today too. Work is pretty hectic, but I'm sure I'll find some DIS time. I might take in my WDW planning book and work on that a bit in the downtime. (By that I mean use the work printers for any inserts I need to do!)

Morning all.

I finally feel a little better this morning, my headache seems to have finally gone. Just feeling tired & have a sore throat but I can live with that.

I am going to catch up on some household paperwork this morning then later this afternoon I'm going to drive over & get hubby from work & go get a bit of lunch with him. I can't wait to get out of the house!
