I'm not sure how the argument of adjusting the other rooms because the theme park rooms aren't selling works when they also increased the theme park rooms.

You could say the views are now way better for theme park but majority of members don't even know there were bad views.

Im not sure how they could legally resolve this issue where the owners aren't penalized for DVD/DVC's mistake.

I have a problem with this. They raised points to cover their own mistake. It's not our fault they classified some rooms as theme park knowing as soon as they built it they would have subpar views.

It’s not always so cut and dry because sometimes on paper, it seems okay.

Sometimes it seems like it should be obvious…regardless thet did the correct thing and fixed it quickly so that it doesn’t happen any longer.

Until a resort is completely declared, this is something that can happen, especially when it opens and it’s clear it didn’t make it.

When they decide on the totals from the start they base it on # of rooms. If now the number of rooms in a category don’t fit, they should not continue to sell with a point chart that implies that.

The idea that DVC would have somehow priced less total points to sell because of the # of rooms in a particular view seems ridiculous to me.

They were going to price the total number of points to hit a target ROI and avg dues cost and then use a computer to auto assign the points.

I feel like "theme park view" is the highest tier of room view - and it should be a perfect view of the theme park. If anything is in the way, it's not a theme park view. This view should be heavily scrutinized when assigning views to rooms. And yes, it may need to change over time as new things are built or trees grow in.
