Not what you asked but maybe at least when you get home think of a different path and go alternative? I did gel once and the damage to my nails was horrendous. I loved the longevity for sure but I said never again when I saw how wrecked they got. I went back to normal polish until I ended up with a “gel alternative” manicure at a Grand Hyatt hotel called Dazzle Dry and I haven’t looked back. Went straight online after it stayed on for like a week to get my own stuff! Lasts in between gel and normal polish (about 1 week for me) doesn’t require a light to cure, doesn’t require anything more than nail polish remove to take off.
(I also really like their Maintain oil to help nourish my nails when not polished, their other oil didn’t work for me though.)
