Five hard-earned dollars were spent on that mug.
If they still have them in four weeks, I will spend five more and get one for micandminforever, since she doesn't have a trip planned in the near future.
Of course, if I don't get it for her, she'll be forced to go down there and get it herself....![]()

You are right about the "filler" CMs in the parades. They do get overlooked, but I think they add a lot of color and I enjoy them! Some of my favorites are the ones in the party parades. I especially liked all the ones from MVMCP, like the ice skaters. They were so sparkly and pretty!
Can't believe you left us hanging like that. Now that you have a carrot dangling before us, you can't wait too long before the next update. That's an official disboards rule, ya know!
The parade pictures were just what I needed to energize me to get going this morning. I have a house to clean, maybe.
I must say that DH and aren't typically parade people. Now that we have an 11 month old, I'm sure we'll be seeing them every trip.
On our last trip we took the Keys to the Kingdom Tour, and saw many CM performers and floats backstage. So interesting to see them on stage versus off stage.
Man I wish I could do that!!! That would be so much fun! We are planning for Europe in March 2012 and WDW in October. Seems like light years away.
Love the parade pictures -so colorful and festive!
Once upon a time I wanted to be a space filler CM in a parade. It didn't last very long because let's face it, it's really hot in those costumes and I'm not young and in shape like I use to be. But it would be quite an experience that I would of loved to try at least once. Although, I did march in 1 Disney Christmas Parade when I was in high school. no fancy Disney costumes but fun none the less
I can almost hear the parade music now!! Thanks for a little "MK fix".
As long as you acquire your mug legally ..... no more stealing.
I WILL see you NYE.
Enjoyed the parade pictures!
So sad to hear about your student....I understand why that would upset you. Poor kid, hopefully he has found a place to get the help he needs.
Enjoy your summer break! 3.5 days to go here...
Love the parade pictures! And I can't wait to see the next update!
Your foster-boy student has been on my mind and in my prayers constantly. A social worker friend says to be optimistic, bcz his mom still wants to be involved and bcz he is still young. With the right interventions, his world could change completely. Also holding Baby O and family in my prayers. DD was preemie, too, but she would have dwarfed this little guy!
Thanks for the parade pics, but now I can't wait to see what your real favorite is!!
PS Nursing my first sunburn of the season. : Silly me, mowing the lawn with a hat but no sunscreen. Honestly, I'm as old as dirt. I really should know better by now!
Yay for the random fill-in cast members!!!!
Great pictures MeMom! I really enjoyed the meet pics and the ones from your trip. Again, I'e been very busy but I still check in everyday. I know you are SO ready for a break from school. I can't even begin to imagine how stressful teaching some kids can be with the life they are given these days.
On another note I would lke to ask you and everyone else here to remember my husband Denny and the rest of our family. He lost his Mom suddenly last night. Thanks to all.
....love this parade!!! Great pics Memom!!!
I thought Naveen would have been your favorite ....... you can't leave us hanging for too long.
Ahhh, very excitting for Wig'd & Shocker & Baylor to be going on the Disney Dream!
Next June is not going to work for us because we are going in May!!!
TY's Nonnie I will say a prayer for your husband and family.
Sorry for your loss.
I really know better than to get behind with your reports, but still a couple of days??
Hopefully, the little boy will get what he needs. It is good that he is on the radar and young...less chance of slipping through the cracks.
I hope you are enjoying your worry free weekend! No school bag taunting you as you walk by, no classroom laughing at you while you are enjoying non-school activities! I have five days with the kids, and three more days for meetings and classroom cleanup. I am caught up with grading but will be collecting research papers this week - I always do it this way though. The kids are busy right up until the end.
Thank you for the parade pics. I can't wait until Aug. (But then I hate that the summer will be almost over and I will be back at school!)
Love the parade photos!!! Can't wait to get down there in a month and see it for myself!!!
