Geen Yight - She's Out of Sight: A Trip of Leaps and Bounds

Hope your field day went well, MeMom! I remember those in elementary school. Looking back, I have NO idea how the teachers did it! :scared1:

Kailyn's last day of high school is today, and she graduates next Thursday. I will definitely have pictures from that on Facebook. If Charles ends up coming, I'm sure there will be pictures floating around of me bawling my eyes out

Aw, you all have fun for us tomorrow!! Please take lots of pictures and I still expect my text! ;)
I told Hollie this morning that Brooklynn was coming to town. This was our conversation:

Me: Hollie, guess what?!?! Brooklynn is coming back to the mall we saw her at last time!
Hollie: oooh, mommy can we go? She told me she would hold my hand while I got my ears pierced!
Me: Baby we are gonna be at the lake, but we will see her next time.
Hollie: Uh, no!! Why don't we go see her from the lake and then we can go back to the lake and then she can go with us and swim in the swimming pool with me! Then we can have popsicles and run around and play..PLEASEEEEEEEE, PLEASEEEE MOMMY PLEASEEEEEE!!
Me: Baby she can't. She has to stay with her mom and her memom. Maybe we can get her to come to the lake one day since they live in Alabama.
Hollie: I am not talking to you anymore right now till you say yes.

( about a half a second passes)

Hollie: Mommy, can I have a piece of gum??

haha That didn't last long!

It sounds like you guys are in for a fun weekend! Field day was always so much fun! I remember it like it was yesterday! And I loved going to watch my cousins for theirs too. I hope you guys have a great day, and have a super-fun time in Atlanta! I am jealous! I will be at work....working...:sad1: But I will also be praying for good results on your test:hug::goodvibes It is always best to err on the side of caution.

CanadianWDWFan - good luck at the dentist:goodvibes I feel your pain!

MeMom- I hope you have fun at field day! I'm sure all the kids will enjoy a break to spend some time outside and burn off some energy!

I also hope everyone attending the DIS meet has a wonderful time! I wish I was closer to join you all, I couldn't imagine a better way to spend a Saturday than with like-minded Disney friends- OK, maybe I can- but only if I was spending the day AT DISNEY with like-minded Disney friends :goodvibes

Glad you guys had fun on the people mover, its a favorite in this house as well! Oh and the coffee floats are divine, and I'd highly recommend them! I don't think I would have made it through our last trip, with all of Everett's sleeping snafus, without them!

Have a fun time tomorrow with those people from Kansas ;) And Miss Jackie too!!:goodvibes Have fun with your girls and a safe trip to GA

Tracy

TTA is a favorite of ours. One time while on it we got to see Space Mountain with the lights on. Very cool! I rode Astro Orbiter for the first time, the last time we were there. One of my most favorite pictures of me and my oldest was on that ride.

Sounds like a busy weekend for you guys. Hope you have a blast!

"I think maybe we did get some and shared it.
Or maybe I just thought about it.
If we had, I probably would have taken a picture, and there isn't one, so maybe not.
Yet, I think maybe we did."

This cracked me up. You sound just like me. Can't remember what I did an hour ago, let alone a few months ago. :)

Ahhh, that's better. You know how some days you just need your Disney fix more than others? Well, today was one of those days for me, so it was simply delicious to be able to spend a few virtual minutes in MK. Thanks, MeMom.

Chuckled when I saw the Astro Orbiter. I love the view from up there, but not so much fun last time. DH & I decided we'd ride together so we wouldn't have to split up and ride different circuits. What could go wrong? :sad2: Well, I'm going to hazard a guess that it was about 12 years and maybe 50 lbs ago that we last rode together. A little too cozy this time! My, it's hard to be a rocketeer when we are so squished! Next time, he can pilot his own.

Hope Field Day is going well for both you & the kids. And do have a safe & lovely trip to GA. Looking forward to pix from the meet. Have a ball! :grouphug:

***************************************

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend filled with family, friends, and fun! Today is our Field Day at school, so you know it will be wild, but fun. I get to see all my girls tonight, and then we're hooking up with some folks from Kansas who will be blowing through our area tonight. Tomorrow - off to Atlanta for lunch with DIS friends and some Disney Store hopping, then back home tomorrow night. It's gonna be a busy couple of days.

Also, we are down to FIVE WEEKS until we take off! :dance3:

Hope you had a nice Field Day! What a great weekend you have planned, enjoy every minute of it! Mine will just be spent counting the minutes until Thursday at 7:25!

I can't believe you're down to five weeks!

Sounds like you have a really fun weekend planned!!! Enjoy!

Yep. We will. :goodvibes

:rotfl2: Memom, it sounds like you have a classic case of momnesia or in your case, memomnesia!

Definitely MeMomnesia. I get it often. I will go downstairs to do something in the laundry room, forget, and have to go back to where I started to remember what it was.

The world may never know if we had ice cream or not. :upsidedow

What a fun weekend you are going to have!

A DISmeet and Disney Store hopping is awesome!

I wish I could come too!

I have to go to the dentist this afternoon...think I lost part of a tooth...
All I know if there's pain .... there's something wrong.
I'm so thankful they had an opening and could squeeze me in.

Hope that tooth stuff gets fixed quickly and cheaply. :thumbsup2

The school fun is done.
Now onto family and friends fun.

Love the TTA! The most relaxing ride at MK!

Hope field days go well and enjoy your visit. Hope it is a great long weekend for all of you south of the border.

It is nice to have a three day weekend to look forward to. :cool1:

We aren't going to be able to make it to the meet tomorrow. I have been trying to figure out a way to get there but we have a family graduation party tomorrow afternoon. I really wan't to support them but I really, really, really want to go to the meet. So as of now, we will have to see y'all next time.

Awww, too bad. We'll do it again another time, of course. Enjoy your family time.

Awwwwww...wish I was with the people from Kansas!! I wish you guys the best time this weekend MeMom and crew!! Enjoy the DISmeet and enjoy the great company!!!!!!!!

We will. I wish all the GA DISers could make it, but there will be other Atlanta meets.

Jen, the people from Kansas wish you were with them too packed like a sardine with Baylor in the backseat of the car.....

You can enjoy a good long stretch in Nashville soon.

Well, all the bad storms and rain went ahead and came through last night, so we can have gorgeous weather for our visitors tomorrow!

Have fun at Field Day, MeMom! Can't wait to see you, Jill, and your girls tomorrow!

Gorgeous weather sounds good. We had a nice day here. We had enough clouds to make Field Day very pleasant.

Awww be safe and have a good trip!!! Packed like sadines

Baylor will appreciate the stop, I am sure. :)

Hi everyone!

I'm headed to the Mall of America tomorrow so of course I'll pop into the Disney store!

And in other news.....Another baby is coming!!! A baby girl!!! Caroline is going to have a little sister. They found out yesterday. We're very excited. Now I'll have 2 nieces to spoil.

Have a great time at your meet!!!

What fun it will be to spoil those nieces, too!

It wears a teacher out, but it's a fun day for the kids. The parents that come are usually a little overwhelmed by seeing that many kids together.

Happy Graduation to your 'baby' sister! :goodvibes

This was actually one of our better organized Field Days, so it wasn't bad at all.

They had a blast on the big inflatables.

I'm sure Jill can put a Facebook picture up of the Atlanta gathering.

Have a fun time tomorrow with those people from Kansas And Miss Jackie too!! Have fun with your girls and a safe trip to GA

Thanks. We have a long day tomorrow traveling to Atlanta and back w/o spending the night, but it will be fun.

Yeah, I'm the absent-minded professor some days. :teacher:

Always happy to take people away from reality and into the magic for a moment. I have been getting some nice DIS pictures this week by phone, and they have brightened my days.

I can't believe you're down to five weeks!

Yes ma'am, we are. ::yes:: Five weeks from right now, we will be the sardines in the car traveling south.

I am so excited about your trip. You guys will have a big old blast!!!

I'm finally all caught up! I've had no time for DISing recently. I've had soooo much to do for school. They've been giving us a ton of work these last few weeks. Between now and graduation I have to do a research paper, two take home exams, two essays, two worksheets, three quizzes, a math review packet, and three exams :faint: But I'll be done with classes next Friday! Then after exams and graduation rehearsal the big day will finally be here on June 12! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. I remember you telling me waaaay back in September that it would fly by!

Remember when I told you that Jeremy, Leslie, and Caleb were moving back down here? They're gonna be a lot closer than I thought. According to my grandma, they got an apartment in our town!!! They move in next week :goodvibes

Have fun at the DIS meet! I wish I could come but Atlanta is a little too far  I went to the Disney store a couple weeks ago. I told myself I was going to buy my best friend a few birthday presents, which I did, but somehow I also ended up walking out with two little stuffed animals, two shirts, and a reuseable bag for myself. No clue how that happened :rolleyes1 In my defense, I was using leftover Christmas money ;)

Just popping in to wish everyone a wonderful weekend. I sure wish I was closer and could meet up in Atlanta with everyone and those Kansas people!:goodvibes I know you guys will have a magical meet! Seems like I am missing everyone this summer and in October.:sad1: Hopefully next year!

Glad your field day went well. We have ours next Friday. We had state testing all this week. Yuck!! Super excited that it is over now. We have 14 school days left but hopefully they will pass quickly.:goodvibes You're down to just a few days now!!

Enjoy every minute of the weekend!:cool1:

Just wanted to say hi and I know you are going to have a great Dis meet in Atlanta. I sure wish I were closer so I could participate.

So sad to be missing the Atlanta meet but I look forward to seeing all the pictures.

Lots of rain but nothing severe. It is race week and our Speed street Down town has gotten rained out 2 days in a row. Last night they did an emergency evacuation of sorts "just in case" because the stormed moved in so fast it freaked everyone out.

Working 11 hours Sat and then I may check out out small towns concert series. It is a tribute band for Billy Joel and it might be nice to unwind after a long day to some of that.

I am glad you will have your family closer. You guys can have more fun cookouts and just hanging out time. Very nice for all of you. :)

Jill is quite excited about our Disney Store visit today. I think she wants to go to two of them - one at the mall we're meeting at, and I am not sure which mall the other one is at.

Hang in there a few more weeks! We're sending good thoughts to you as you finish this year.

It seems like there is a pretty good group going the first week in October, and then another group going during the teens in October. Your dates miss both of those? Maybe you can manage to overlap with somebody for at least one day. We'll have to all write our dates down and figure out who can meet up with whom.

I was happy to get a break from testing for two years, but I think it is coming down to 2nd next year. We knew it was eventually, but I was grateful for the short break.

Just wanted to say hi and I know you are going to have a great Dis meet in Atlanta. I sure wish I were closer so I could participate.

We wish you were, too.
In DIStown, we could meet...like...all the time! :dance3:

That's something I never do at home, but I enjoy the concerts when we are in Disney World. A Billy Joel band would be a good one. Enjoy that!

Jill will put up a FB picture from the meet, I feel sure.

I think everyone is ready for some blue skies and sunshine!

Have a great meet today! It sounds like fun.

I hope they have some good shopping at the Disney Store. I'll be in Fernandina Beach, and there's a Disney Store in Jacksonville.... hmmmmmm, that gives me an idea :rolleyes1

I'm sitting here at work on a break and I was thinking about all of you and your DISmeet today.
So excitting!!! Wish I was there!!! :goodvibes

If I was there I would order Chick fil A for my lunch and I would happily go along for the shopping at the Disney Stores. ;)

Have fun ladies...drive safe everyone!

Can't wait to see pics and hear what fun stuff you came home with. popcorn::

so sad to hear about that diser! We had some bad storms here on Wed night. I was on my way home and just praying I made it there. We made it home fine and there was no activity at our house (it was mostly in the town where we work) I don't think I have ever seen the sky soo black! There were tornados but none ever touched down. Thankfully!

Caleb fell asleep while we were on Nemo in Epcot and was out for a long time. He also slept during the whole Move it shake it parade too! LOL!

We went to the Columbus zoo on sunday and we saw an opaki (I think it is called?) the one that they have on the safari in AK that has the zebra looking behind. So it was my disney touch there. Caleb also lost his sippy cup in the monkey pit. Dropped it right down there...luckily there was a barrier there so at least the monkeys could not get it! LOL!

Hope you all have a great meet and a wonderful weekend! We are heading to my two nieces birthday parties tonight and then up to the Cleveland area tommorow for my niece's birthday party tommorow! Caleb is very excited for cake and ice cream. He said "I like cake" "I like parties". though not to sure where he would remember being at a party! LOL!

Just wanted to pop in to say hope you had a great meet in Atlanta!! Wish I lived closer!!! Also have a wonderful holiday weekend!!!
Just order pins and lanyards for our July trip...have to get Solomon and Abby started early!!!

I forgot to mention that I was watching HGTV this afternoon and on monday june 6th @ 8pm...a new show is coming on called ....My Yard goes Disney....they are making over peoples backyards disney style. Its definitely set on my dvr. After that is a new show called House Hunters on Vacation. Not sure how that one is going to work..if its just picking a vacation...or are they buying a house while they are on vacation...guess I will have to wait until june 6th to find out! LOL!
