Hey ya'll. What are we up to today?

It's 4pm, I've already changed into my pj's and am getting ready to watch Nascar. Wow, that sounds even worse than it is.

I'll go you one better Pakey -- I never got out of my pajamas today! Been sitting around and cleaning during commercials. Actually slept until 11:30 a.m. today. This week just seemed to last FOREVER. Glad to be relaxing, because next weekend I have a communion on Saturday and going down the shore to see my mom on Sunday, so I won't get to rest.

Oh you definitely win. I love those "never get out of pj's" days. My husband did not golf today (he always golfs on Saturdays so it messes with the flow of the universe when he does not) so I was forced to get up and get out as he's not a sit still kind of guy.

And the sleeping in thing went away when I got these stupid dogs. They make me get up so that they can sit on my lap and nap all day.

Day started taking DS to baseball (7:30 a.m.) -- he had a double header. Then took DD (8:30 a.m.) to softball pictures. After that (it's a bit like trying to get a bunch of rabbits on a flatbed truck...), came home, straightened up house a bit, then at 10:15 took DD to her softball game, which ended at 1:15.

Then, I took her to Culvers for lunch (yummmmm!), came home. Then picked up DS, who came home just long enough to shower, eat and leave to go to the Newsboys concert. DD and I are now watching Psych episodes on TV from my iPod until 7:45, when we leave to see the Hannah Montana movie.

Had great thoughts of cleaning house today. I'd do it tomorrow, except we've got church until noon, opening day Little League ceremony at 12:45, then my DS has an eye appointment at 2:00 p.m. Back to church at 6:00.

DH is National Guarding this weekend. I think I'm looking forward to going back to work on Monday...

Wow Smurfie, I need a nap just reading your post. When our kids were younger and involved in all kinds of activities, we lived 20 miles out into the country. Mostly what I remember from those years is being in the car, always in the car. I do not miss it.

Thanks! It's not that bad -- our car conversations are often the only time DS15 talks to us! I just hate it when all of the activities happen at the same time! I would really have liked to go to his baseball game -- minor league softball games take forever....(or just seem that way).

I did have my iPod and was able to listen to a Harry Potter book for the umpteenth time..... I do remind myself that our schedules and house will be clean all too soon.

Morning. I'm so tired today. My reflux kept me up until 2:30 a.m., then the alarm went off at 6:30 a.m. and it's gloomy, raining and nasty and it's supposed to be that way today, tomorrow, break on Wednesday, then again on Thursday and Friday. I CANNOT GET OUT OF BED WHEN IT'S LIKE THIS!!!!!!! My get up and go, must a got up and went 'cause this is killing me. I need sunshine and warm weather!!! Help!!!!

My problem is that it's Monday. The same mess in my office that was here on Friday is waiting for me. We processed over 800 new hires on Saturday and I see a line is already forming out here for this morning and it's 2 hours before we start.
