Morning all!

Sharky, glad to hear it's a good movie. We sooo wanna see it!

I've also had a tornado hit our house...well technically, it hit our barn and took it away in bits and pieces. Luckily we had moved the few animals in it (goat, dog and a couple of rabbits) to the cellar before it hit.

I was 6 at the time so it was awhile ago, but I remember it pretty clearly!

We were extremely lucky too. With all of the damage we had, and by all I mean the town, there were no fatalities, or major injuries and believe it or not, people even reported no loss of any pets.

Our house really only suffered damage enough for me to do the updates I wanted to

LOL lucky tornado then! I don't remember if there were any injuries or fatalities from the tornado that took our barn, but I doubt there were or I would remember it being said. We don't have basements here in FL, and I sometimes worry about that in case one decides to visit us here.

The newer homes here don't have basements either unless you add them as a bonus type room. I'd love to add one when we build here in a few years, personally. Not so much for the safety but more so for the family/rec room option. Of course, I've also said there will be two sets of stairs leading to the bedrooms, one which is the beaten path and one that people see when they come in that STAYS CLEAN!

A good friend of mine in Ohio has a gorgeous victorian house with two staircases. There is the grand staircase that company sees and a spiral staircase in the rear of the house. I always thought that was so cool.

Good afternoon here,sunny and dry but kindae cool.

It was DH birthday and we had a wee party.

My wee niece loves to " party plan " but as she's only 4 its cup cakes,chicken nuggets and sausage rolls all round.

She brought balloons, party poppers and streamers...it was really fun !!

The sun finally decided to make an appearance here today after raining a big portion of the day.

Not too much going on today. Just relaxing and watching tv while the kids play video games. They're on spring break. I wish I was too!

Hi all. Warm and pollen laden here; allergies are kicking my hiney.

Glad the movie was good. My daughter in law is a marketing director for Dreamworks/Paramount so she was happy to see the numbers this morning on how well the monsters did for its opening. We were at their house in Los Angeles this weekend.

So what interesting things did I miss this weekend?????

My BIL called last night. The one that DH went to his wedding recently. Well he's been on his honeymoon in Hawaii. Apparently, he's been at the hospital the entire time! He had a gallstone that caused an infection that spread from his gall bladder to his intestines.

Now that's a honeymoon to remember! The poor guy and the poor bride!

Emm..member I said I membered the clock change......

The only one I forgot was my phone,which is also my alarm.

I woke up this morning at 8.15 ..the boy statrs school at 8.45

" wake up....get dressed....eat yer breakfast....brush yer teeth....in the car !! "

poor wee scone was in a daze as i dropped him off !!
