I'm here -- and sore. I manually rototilled my garden area yesterday and today (using the "claw" and a spade). Ibuprofen is my friend. My hands even hurt to type!

But I'm psyched -- my seedlings are doing a little better (after being left out in a near freeze a couple of weeks ago), and I'll have lots of great veggies....come August. Talk about delayed gratification!

Judi, I can't believe you remembered I served in the armed forces. Thanks for the acknowledgement. Obviously age hasn't affected your memory the way it has mine. Sometimes I feel fortunate to remember where my underwear drawer is every morning.

PKs, sorry you missed demo derby. The skittle race wasn't all that great due to weather also. At least Shrub didn't win so it wasn't a total bust.

scotlass, we'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

Smurfy, we've got a couple of tomato plants in. We are city people so not sure how this is going to work but my husband is giving it a try this year. Personally, I think it will be a miracle if we get anything.

I've had my pepsi. I think I'll go for a cup of coffee now. Have you tried the Dunkin Donuts french vanilla coffee? It is really good.

I gotta get myself up and moving. That wonderful thing known as grocery shopping is on my to-do list today. And it is better if I to-do it in the mornings.
