I actually bought this on a trip to another city, but I love having it for travel. I like to have tea in my room (it tastes like coffee if you try to use a coffee maker for the hot water).
I bought this at Walmart for about $11 - I saw it yesterday at Walgreen's on 192 for about $6 after a $3 rebate. It's been worth every penny.
This is a white plastic pot about 6-7 inches tall - probably a 6 inch diameter. I'm not sure what the capacity it. So far I have only used it for hot water but it says you can also use it to heat other liquids.
Having hot water makes it possible to have tea, coffee, instant oatmeal, instant soups and noodles, hot chocolate - and I"m sure a bunch of other stuff. It really comes in handy if you don't have a microwave in the room.
Even if I'm at a hotel with a free continental breakfast I love being able to have a cup of tea without having to get dressed.
