GCV new incentive!!!

Talked with my guide...
I was rushed and didn't write it down, so this is my best recollection -

After all incentives and discounts, if you buy a minimum of

50 pts --> $92
100 pts --> $90
125 pts --> $88

There are some alternative incentives of 3-7 day cruises instead of the dollars.

This is a really good deal..I even thought of calling my guide and :::gasp:::: redoing my contracts, I don't think I can bear to sign all that stuff again..BUT them I remembered my DP concierge stay at DGC coming up and that is worth more than the savings, so...::hew::: I'll just stay put. BTW..talked to MS yesterday and the contracts are getting close to closing, so those who want to revise should probably hustle.

I agree, nunzia, I think my developers points are worth more than the savings and I am done with my purchase except for recording. I never look at incentives after I've purchased just for this reason I just make sure I am happy with the deal I take and then don't have to second guess myself. Good luck to all with their purchase decision!

As with all rumors, no one really ever knows. I was of the belief that it would sell out quickly strictly because it is the only DVC in CA currently and with only 160 units it will sell out eventually.

It worked out great for us because we couldn't afford it right after we purchased BLT, and we happened to have the down payment "handy" and the great incentives just made it a "must do" for us. Couldn't be happier, and CANNOT wait to visit GCV next summer!!!

There are only 48 units at GCV. I've "toyed" with the idea of an add-on because I think it might be hard to get at 7 months with the low number of units.

OMG. Just goes to show you I'm already thinking of making my add on 160 points instead of 130..I had to laugh at loud at that one. Thanks for pointing out the typo!
