GCSE Results for next year

Planning a trip for next year. DD is getting her results next August so we would like to be back for when she receive them.

Does anybody know what the dates are for results for next year?

CCEA won't release that information until May 2011
but I got my results 24th August 2009
and my friends got theres today, as in 25th August 1010

So expect them the last full week in august xx

Usually, but this year even tho a levels stuck to a Thursday, gcse results were a Tuesday, well, today

It's many years since my exams but I still get nervous at this time of year!!!

Yep! I had a few years off from that feeling but now as a teacher I'm back to that nervous day

I can remember getting my gcse results so clearly and it is nearly 20 years ago.

Maths isn't my forte. I hated the maths teacher and she hated me. In the weeks before the results I kept having a recurring dream where she would give me the results and i'd have to work out the grades and i'd wake up sweating sreaming just tell me if i've passed.

Well on the day she of all people did give me the results and i'd got a B which meant I didn't have to do maths exams ever again.

Yes she did! thanks for asking. Well that was my plan but she wants to celebrate with her friends!

just a question, do the gcse results come in the post? do they come recorded delivery? or do they collect them from the school?

Why i ask is my son is in year 10 but gone to camp and hes taken a couple of gcse's a year early. Today while i was out a recorded delivery item was attempted to be delivered would this be them?

Doh silly me the recorded item is in my name, if they were results they would come in my sons name.
